Ethan Colton Rimel, age 23, of Fall River, Kansas died May 25, 2014.  He was born on December 24, 1990 in Neodesha, Kansas, the son of Philip L. Rimel and Shelley A. (Dannels) Blevins.

Ethan was a graduate of Fredonia High School class of 2009.  He worked at Flint Oak as a Shooting Sports Manager.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, skeet and trap shooting, playing golf, and working in his gar4dcen.  He enjoyed being outdoors.  Most of all, he enjoyed being with his children.

Ethan is survived by his fiancee, Kayla Stafford of Fall River, Kansas; sons, Colton and Canton of Fall River, Kansas; siblings, Alexis Raine of Toronto, Kansas, Samantha Ball of Fredonia, Kansas, Philip Rimel of Fredonia, Kansas, Tara Smith of Colorado, and Tyler Blevins of Alaska; father, Philip L. Rimel of Fredonia, Kansas; mother, Shelley A. Blevins and husband, Randy of Fall River, Kansas; stepmother, Bambi Rimel of Fredonia, Kansas; grandparents, Elizabeth Rimel of Fredonia, Kansas, Duane Johnson of Fredonia, Kansas, and Lois Dannels of Altoona, Kansas; great-grandparents, Lucille Doyle of Fredonia, Kansas and Virginia Rimel of Lawrence, Kansas.  Ethan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Philip Rimel, Richard Dannels, and Aleta Blevins.

Funeral services were held on May 30, 2014 at Countryside Funeral Home in Fredonia, Kansas with Mike Myers officiating.  Burial followed at the Charleston Cemetery north of Fall River, Kansas.  Online condolences may be left at www.countrysidefh.com.  Memorials have been suggested to either the Colton & Canton Educational Fund or Ducks Unlimited and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.  Services are entrusted to Countryside Funeral Home, 420 S. 20th Street, Fredonia, Kansas 66736.
