Jim Radcliff, age 72, a resident of Moline, Kansas and Wichita, Kansas, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013 in Moline.  He was born on June 8, 1941 in Oak Grove, Louisiana, the son of A.G. and Mary (Lebrun) Radcliff.

Jim joined the Army after school and served in Vietnam where he received a citation as a marksman.  He was honorably discharged in June of 1966.  He later worked as a painter, and in his spare time liked to hunt and spend time with his dogs.  He also enjoyed dancing, which is how he met his wife, Barbara.

Jim is survived by his wife, Barbara of the home; two daughters, Rose Ann and Shannon; brothers, Jessie Radcliff and Eugene Radcliff, both of Wichita, Kansas; sisters, Shirley Cole of Diggins, Missouri, Nadine Huff of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Gertrude Pike of Centerton, Arkansas.  Jim was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, A.G. Radcliff, Jr. and Joe Radcliff; and sisters, Rose Radcliff and Claudine Echols.

Cremation has taken place, and no services are planned at this time.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the American Heart Association which may be left with the funeral home.  Online condolences may be left at www.countrysidefh.com.  Arrangements are entrusted to Countryside-Zimmerman Funeral Home, 206 E.
