Christina Carolyn "Christine" Roberts, age 78, a resident of Howard, Kansas, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2013 at the Howard Twilight Manor.  She was born on December 9, 1934 in Madison, Arkansas, the daughter of Grover and Nina (Yevelton) Ball.

Christine was a homemaker and worked as a cook for many years.  She married Clifford Roberts.

She is survived by two sons, Michael Roberts and Carl Roberts, both of Portland, Oregon; three daughters, Sharon Arnold, Connie Roberts, and Karen Miller of Vancouver, Washington; one brother, Grover Ball Jr. of Grenola, Kansas;  7 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Roberts; her son, Lee Roberts; her brother, Charles Ball; and 2 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Countryside-Zimmerman Funeral Home in Howard, Kansas with Pastor Robin Haines officiating.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Friendship Meals and may be left with the funeral home.  Online condolences may be left at www.countrysidefh.com.  Arrangements are entrusted to Countryside-Zimmerman Funeral Home, 206 E.
