Evelyn M. Musgrove, 68, of Independence, Kan. passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at the Via Christi Regional Medical Center, St. Francis Campus, Wichita, Kan.

Evelyn was born August 1, 1938 at Fall River, Kan. to George and Eleanor (Smith) Wambsganss.  She was raised and educated in Fredonia where she graduated from Fredonia High School in 1957.  Evelyn married Carl Musgrove on Nov. 22, 1956 in Independence, Kan.

Evelyn is survived by her husband, Carl of the home in Independence; three sons, Terry Musgrove of Ponca City, Okla., Tod Musgrove of Dixon, Ill., and Dan Bentz of Dixon, Ill; a daughter, Rosie Sweaney of Sedan, Kan.; three brothers, William Wambsganss of Yakima, Wash., Leon Wambsganss of South Lake, texas, and Paul Wambsganss of Wichita, Kan.; eight grandchildren, Nathan, Jeremy and Phillip sweaney, Andy, Chris and Tim Bentz, La Dawn Myers and Josh Musgrove; and three great grandchildren, Christopher and Candace Myers and Daniel Bentz.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons, Tim and Tony Musgrove.

Funeral services were held Dec. 19, at the First Baptist Church in Cherryvale with Pastor Jerry Buschman officiating.  Burial followed at the Fairview Cemetery, Cherryvale.

The family has suggested memorial contributions to Children Evangelism Fellowship (CEF).  Memorials may be left with the funeral home staff.
