The following comment was posted by the reader of an article about a US Postal worker who refused to process a legal firearms mailing transaction based on the worker's claimed religious beliefs (link to article below).  While humorous, this illustrates the silly nonsense that Progressive political correctness has wrought.  God bless libs, 'progressives', Dems, RINOs and the milquetoast moderates who have tossed reason out the window in favor of their brand of 'equality'...


A HappyBurger restaurant unknowingly hires a muslim man. The muslim knows that one of the most popular burgers has bacon on it. The very first customer that orders a burger topped with bacon the muslim refuses basing that refusal on his religion. The muslim is fired for not performing the work he agreed to do.  Then the Happyburger unknowingly hires a vegan. The first customer that orders a burger from the vegan is refused. Citing her vegan beliefs is the reason.

The hamburger restaurant, now tired of wasting time and money on people who will not do the job they were hired to do starts asking applicants about their religion and beliefs in an effort to screen out those that will not perform the duties they are hired for. In a week they have interviewed 5 people.

One is a vegetarian and will not handle any meat. Another is a muslim who won't handle the bacon. The third believes he should be hired as a manager even though she has no former work history. The fourth is a blind man that obviously cannot see to cook and therefore not qualified. The fifth is a teenager eager to work. They hire the teenager.

A week later the hamburger restaurant is sued by those that were not hired for reasons ranging from religious, personal & handicapped discrimination. Later an illegal mexican sues because he claims the teenager stole his job, even though he can't speak English. The owner goes broke, is arrested. The IRS presses charges, the restaurant closes forever. Welcome to the US.
