A big Thank you To the Howard Alunmi Association for a job well done, a great meeting, excellent and well served banquet and meal, and the entertainment was the best they have ever had, way to go Clint. All the people serving on the board work hard to put on a great program. Keep it going.  The scholarship program has benefitted so many West Elk Graduates,.

      Has anyone else heard about the vandalism to the Moline building during the night after the dance? I guess someone damaged the bathrooms and tore up the trophy case and trophys after 3 AM.

Yes, there was vandalism at The Hornets' Nest last Friday night. There is a reward for arrest and conviction of the perps. Contact Lisa Townsley at the city office for details. What a shame. This is akin to cemetery vandalism IMHO.
