I read a number of articles before I realized (this past week) that Gosnell was arrested two years ago... the country was in the middle of a re-election campaign for the abortion clown we have as president.  Of course there was a cover up then.  And now, the news people are having a hard time explaining it, without implicating themselves in the process.  May this POS doctor fry in hell for the appalling, dreadful, contemptible, wicked, shameful, disgraceful, vile, loathsome murders he has committed!

Shocking Revelations From The "House Of Horrors" Trial
A Philadelphia abortion doctor has been charged with murdering
seven babies and an adult patient at his "baby charnel house."

Prosecutors also hold him responsible for the death of 41-year-old Bhutan refugee Karnamaya Mongar, who died from an overdose of anesthesia under his care.

In Pennsylvania, Dr. Kermit Gosnell faces the death penalty over allegations that he performed illegal late-term
abortions by delivering babies, then snipping their spinal cords with scissors. Prosecutors also hold him responsible for the death of 41-year-old Bhutan refugee Karnamaya Mongar, who died from an overdose of anesthesia under his care.

Afterward, he would reportedly cut off the babies' feet and preserve them in jars.
A neonatologist testified there was no medical reason for this.

Prosecutors also revealed that the clinic employed an unqualified staff — middle-school dropouts working alongside unlicensed medical school graduates. The anesthesiologist was a sixth-grade dropout who couldn't fully read or write, according to prosecutors. The woman who performed ultrasounds had an 8th grade education and phlebotomy certification for drawing blood. Another employee who worked in the operating room was a 15-year-old girl still attending high school.

Former employee Stephen Massof, an unlicensed medical school graduate, described snipping babies' spinal cords as "literally a beheading." He told the court that "it would rain fetuses."

The more women paid, the more anesthesia they received. Dr. Gosnell allegedly gave preferential treatment to white patients, whom he would meet with one-on-one before their procedures. Former employee Elizabeth Hampton told the court that white women "would get better and more attention."

His clinic operated for nearly 20 years without being inspected by the Pennsylvania Department of Health. It earned the nickname "House of Horrors" largely because of a 2011 grand jury report that described the office as a "baby charnel house."

From the District Attorney's office:
"The clinic reeked of animal urine, courtesy of the cats that were allowed to roam
(and defecate) freely. Furniture and blankets were stained with blood. Instruments were
not properly sterilized. Disposable medical supplies were not disposed of; they were
reused, over and over again. Medical equipment – such as the defibrillator, the EKG, the pulse oximeter, the blood pressure cuff – was generally broken; even when it worked, it
wasn't used. The emergency exit was padlocked shut. And scattered throughout, in cabinets, in the basement, in a freezer, in jars and bags and plastic jugs, were fetal
 remains.

Somewhere toward the end of "A Few Good Men" comes the only scene from the movie that anyone actually remembers.  It's the one where Jack Nicholson in a uniform begins chewing the scenery and turns a dreary Aaron Sorkin adaptation of an Aaron Sorkin play into a memorable movie while inflicting Sorkin on the entertainment industry for the next two decades.
The familiar thesis of Nicholson's Colonel Jessup is that he does what needs to be done and what no one wants to talk about needing to be done.  His existence may be "grotesque and incomprehensible to you," but he does the ugly things that make it possible for everyone to go about their day:

The speech is an extended wordy distillation of a familiar quote that was variously attributed to Churchill or Orwell. "People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf."

In the urban battlefield of Philly, one of those rough men doing violence on behalf of liberal ideas was a Thomas Jefferson University by the name of Kermit Gosnell.  Gosnell was one of those unsung heroes doing the dirty work that allowed the activists putting on another round of the Vagina Monologues sleep safely in their beds at night.

Most supporters of military intervention don't like looking at photos of dead children after a bombing raid.  They will contend that they are a fact, but not the point.  Gosnell's butcher shop is similarly a fact, rather than the point.  Pro-choice activists will argue that it is not representative of abortion clinics.  And it isn't.

It is representative of what abortion looks like once you cut through the upper layer of the medical services provided to Sarah Lawrence grads and down to the street level of the lower strata that don't visit abortion clinics to assert their reproductive empowerment, but because the family unit is broken and they are trying to escape the same cycle of broken families that they can never leave behind.

Kermit Gosnell wasn't running an Aaron Sorkin abortion clinic.  He was running a Colonel Jessup abortion clinic.

Margaret Sanger got her start setting up shop in Jewish and Italian neighborhoods because those were the two groups that the upper strata of the day thought were having too many children.  Back then it was supposed to be about wives overburdened with too many children.  Now it's about families that never existed where the abortions don't happen at the clinic, those are just the final expressions of a larger societal abortion that took place when the family died.

Abortion is the final act of the death of the family.  It pretends to solve the problem that arises from the absence of the family. The first abortion kills marriage.  The last abortion kills the child that might have come from a marriage that never existed.

The family isn't dead everywhere.  It's more likely to be dead in the places that men like Gosnell do business than the places where the policymakers and the non-profits who dress up destruction as empowerment do business.

Most arsonists don't set their own houses on fire.  Most liberal policies don't affect liberals.  And that's true in the family sphere where the liberals in the top 1 percent are more likely to have a stable marriage than the bottom 1 percent bleeding in Gosnell's house of reproductive freedom because their dead baby does not have and will not have a father.

Dr. Kermit Gosnell was doing the dirty work of the liberal state by cleaning up some of the mess.  It was bloody and murderous work, but it was made necessary by the sort of people who talk about reproductive freedom while little realizing how little freedom the women who bled, and sometimes died, in Gosnell's offices really had.

The issue isn't as simple as Pro-Choice.  Abortion is just the conclusion of the sordid package of social liberalism.  The package begins with sex ed, complete with the obligatory LGBT mentions, runs through national STD infestations, hookup culture, single parenthood and packs of young men and women recreating the mistakes of the parents they never had and then flushing those mistakes down the toilet before settling down with three kids, by different fathers who are never around, and a package of subsidies from the welfare state administered by social workers who have seen it all.

It's not the story for everyone, but for many of the women who found and find their way to places like Gosnell's butcher shop, that is their story.  It's not a story about abortion.  It's a story about what happens when you replace the family with free love that turns out to be neither free nor love.  Like teaching first graders sex ed or handing out condoms on the street, abortion is one of the ways that the liberal state tries to limit the fallout from its destruction of the family.

The fallout is ugly and bloody.  You can see it in the packs of angry teenage flash mobs smashing through stores.  You can see it in the food stamp cards that mothers tote like coupons, the teen domestic abuse hotline posters hanging around neighborhoods... "If he respects you, he won't beat you" and the other posters of frightened pregnant teenagers holding their stomachs and whispering, "I don't want to lose my dream."

The end of that long brutal journey through black eyes, plans for a GED and medical tests at the clinic is one of Dr. Gosnell's
slabs.  The men and women who made Kermit Gosnell's business boom don't want to look at him.  Why would they?  How many people wanted to look at William Calley?  They are satisfied knowing that somewhere rough men in latex gloves are doing violence of the world they made.  The world they unmade.

They are beginning to claim Gosnell's story already and remake it into another drama about the lack of access.  More money must be given to Planned Parenthood so that no Dr. Gosnell's happen again.  Reform and accountability are key.  More money must go to groups that promote the lifestyles that lead to abortion and then dispense abortions so that the whole cycle can continue to expand.  The babies have to be destroyed to save the next generation of babies from being punished with babies.

But the Gosnells aren't going anywhere.  They are everywhere.  Sometimes they're Middle Eastern.  Other times they're Chinese or Pakistani.  Their medical skills are poor, but it's not because they're stupid, it's because they don't care.  They set up shop in poor neighborhoods.  The philosophy is fast food.  In and out.  Maximize patients.  Maximize cash.  The treatment is sloppy but so are the patients and no one cares because there is a separate waiting room for the white patients.

Often they work the Medicaid/Medicare angle where they defraud the government, ordering endless tests from clinics they have relationships with while offering the lowest standard of care possible.  And some cash in on the abortion business.  Patients aren't people to them.  They're wallets or insurance cards with eyes, teeth, bones, genitalia, muscles and any other parts that they can bill for.

It's easy to take a whack at them, but vultures only gather where there is carrion.  The Gosnells are vultures.  They will eat what they can, gorge themselves on bloody meat and then waddle in the sun.  But they didn't make this world where family is becoming an alien concept and a child is an alien fetal parasite.  They are just cashing in on it.

Kermit Gosnell is the future.  And the future in places like this is ugly and grim.  It's broken families living on social welfare creating more broken families.  It's dead children whose murder churches and synagogues are forced to pay for.  It's living children who grow up hoping to be able to kill.  It's feral packs of lost boys who will never be men and the girls who suddenly become women reading an ad and taking a bus down to 3801 Lancaster Avenue because they're lonely and afraid and they're afraid of losing their dreams, even if they don't know what they are anymore.

This is the world that liberalism made.  It is small, mean and ugly.  Call it Sex Positive Education or Reproductive Freedom or any other euphemism and out of sight of the specialized study sessions at overpriced colleges, it still ends with mothers towing screaming children down the street, going to church on Sundays even though they don't believe and there are hardly any younger men there and others mothers becoming girls again at Dr. Gosnell's hands.

Kermit Gosnell will be locked up... hopefully forever.  There will be a brief spurt of inspections.  And then things will go on as before and the empowerment educators who wear "I Had an Abortion" t-shirts while they drive to the soccer games of their children in some placid suburb will sleep well at night knowing that somewhere in Philly, NYC and LA there are rough men doing violence to the wombs of desperate women and the lives of their unborn children on behalf of their ideologies and policies.  Rough men in dark places doing the inevitable dirty work in the world they made.

Delaware abortion clinic facing charges of
unsafe and unsanitary conditions

Wednesday, April 10, 2013

ABC Local reported: http://abclocal.go.com/wpvi/story?section=news/local&id=9059172

A local abortion clinic is under fire, facing allegations of unsafe and unsanitary conditions.

A series of emergency calls made from the Planned Parenthood of Delaware this year are raising concerns about what's happening behind the closed doors.

Two former nurses who both quit are speaking exclusively with Action News about what they saw inside.

Jayne Mitchell-Werbrich, former employee said, "It was just unsafe. I couldn't tell you how ridiculously unsafe it was."
Werbrich alleges conditions inside the facility were unsanitary.

"He didn't wear gloves," said Werbrich.

Another former employee, Joyce Vasikonis told Action News, "They were using instruments on patients that were not sterile."

The former nurses claim that a rush to get patients in and out left operating tables soiled and unclean.

Werbrich said "It's not washed down, it's not even cleaned off. It has bloody drainage on it."

"They could be at risk of getting hepatitis, even AIDS," added Vasikonis.

Both of these nurses said, they quit to protect their own medical licenses, stunned by what they called a meat-market style of assembly-line abortions.

Get ready for the national media to ignore this gruesome abortion story, too.

Rep. Chris Smith Blasts Liberal Media's AWOL Reporting on Dr. Gosnell's "House of Horrors"

Rep. Chris Smith (R-NJ) spoke out on the House floor this week on the liberal media blackout on the trial of mass murdering Dr. Kermit Gosnell.

"If Dr. Gosnell had walked into a nursery and shot seven infants with an AR-15, it would be national news and the subject of presidential hand-wringing."

From Rep. Smith's website:

" "Now another national media cover up! In this case, even when a Jeffrey Dahmer-like murder trial of an abortionist named Kermit Gosnell, who ran the benign-sounding Women's Medical Society, unfolds in a Philadelphia Courtroom replete with shocking testimony of beheadings, unfathomable abuse, death, and body parts in jars. To this day, the national news media remains uninterested, indifferent—AWOL. Why the censorship? Gosnell's "house of horrors" trial fails to attract any serious and meaningful national news reporting.

"Dr. Kermit Gosnell is on trial for eight counts of murder. One count is for the death of a woman who died during an abortion at his clinic. Seven counts are for babies who survived their abortion and were born alive but then killed by severing their spinal cords with a pair of scissors.

"In the words of the Grand Jury report: "Gosnell had a simple solution for unwanted babies: he killed them.

Lest we become too myopic, let's remember what's at the founding core of the left's love of all things Planned Parenthood.  This monster over whom we rightfully agonize, is but one soldier in a much greater war.

In 1921, Margaret Sanger founded the American Birth Control League, which later became the Planned Parenthood Federation of America.  Sanger's own words & beliefs still sting many, but are at the often unspoken core of the progressive left to this very day.  All for the children, right?  Wrong.  It's really all for the cause.

"The most merciful thing that a large family does to one of its infant members is to kill it." Margaret Sanger, Women and the New Race (Eugenics Publ. Co., 1920, 1923)

On blacks, immigrants and indigents:
"...human weeds,' 'reckless breeders,' 'spawning... human beings who never should have been born."  Margaret Sanger, Pivot of Civilization, referring to immigrants and poor people

On sterilization & racial purification:
Sanger believed that, for the purpose of racial "purification," couples should be rewarded who chose sterilization. Birth Control in America, The Career of Margaret Sanger, by David Kennedy, p. 117, quoting a 1923 Sanger speech.

On the right of married couples to bear children:
Couples should be required to submit applications to have a child, she wrote in her "Plan for Peace." Birth Control Review, April 1932

On the purpose of birth control:
The purpose in promoting birth control was "to create a race of thoroughbreds," she wrote in the Birth Control Review, Nov. 1921 (p. 2)

On the rights of the handicapped and mentally ill, and racial minorities:
"More children from the fit, less from the unfit -- that is the chief aim of birth control." Birth Control Review, May 1919, p. 12

On religious convictions regarding sex outside of marriage:
"This book aims to answer the needs expressed in thousands on thousands of letters to me in the solution of marriage problems... Knowledge of sex truths frankly and plainly presented cannot possibly injure healthy, normal, young minds. Concealment, suppression, futile attempts to veil the unveilable - these work injury, as they seldom succeed and only render those who indulge in them ridiculous. For myself, I have full confidence in the cleanliness, the open-mindedness, the promise of the younger generation." Margaret Sanger, Happiness in Marriage (Bretano's, New York, 1927)

On the extermination of blacks:
"We do not want word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population," she said, "if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members." Woman's Body, Woman's Right: A Social History of Birth Control in America, by Linda Gordon

On respecting the rights of the mentally ill:
In her "Plan for Peace," Sanger outlined her strategy for eradication of those she deemed "feebleminded." Among the steps included in her evil scheme were immigration restrictions; compulsory sterilization; segregation to a lifetime of farm work; etc. Birth Control Review, April 1932, p. 107

On adultery:
A woman's physical satisfaction was more important than any marriage vow, Sanger believed. Birth Control in America, p. 11

On marital sex:
"The marriage bed is the most degenerating influence in the social order," Sanger said. (p. 23) [Quite the opposite of God's view on the matter: "Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled; but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge." (Hebrews 13:4)

On abortion:
"Criminal' abortions arise from a perverted sex relationship under the stress of economic necessity, and their greatest frequency is among married women." The Woman Rebel - No Gods, No Masters, May 1914, Vol. 1, No. 3.

On the YMCA and YWCA:
"...brothels of the Spirit and morgues of Freedom!"), The Woman Rebel - No Gods, No Masters, May 1914, Vol. 1, No. 3.

On the Catholic Church's view of contraception:
"...enforce SUBJUGATION by TURNING WOMAN INTO A MERE INCUBATOR." The Woman Rebel - No Gods, No Masters, May 1914, Vol. 1, No. 3.

On motherhood:
"I cannot refrain from saying that women must come to recognize there is some function of womanhood other than being a child-bearing machine." What Every Girl Should Know, by Margaret Sanger (Max Maisel, Publisher, 1915) [Jesus said: "Daughters of Jerusalem, weep... for your children. For, behold, the days are coming, in which they shall say, Blessed (happy) are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the breasts which never gave suck." (Luke 23:24)]

Conservative to the Core!
Gun control means never having to fire twice.
Social engineering, left OR right usually ends in a train wreck.

Bullwinkle

Man, is Gloria Steinem looking OLD, and she is probably more of a b**** than ever.

I used to think it was the couples choice, but peoples thinking has been totally f'd up by these kind of  people. Those I know who went through with an abortion, regret it to this day.

Toilet In Gosnell Abortion Clinic Needed To Be Lifted From The Floor To
"Get The Fetuses Out Of The Pipes"

(Courtesy of Roe V. Wade.)

(CNSNews.com) – A witness testified in the Gosnell abortion-murder trial that she saw one baby expelled alive into a toilet where it "was like swimming" and "trying to get out." According to the grand jury report in the case, clinic workers testified that babies often expelled from their mothers into the toilet and that, in at least one instance, the toilet was lifted from the floor to "get the fetuses out of the pipes."

The ongoing trial concerns abortionist Dr. Kermit Gosnell and the Women's Medical Society clinic he ran in Philadelphia. He is charged with, among other crimes, the first-degree murder of seven babies who had been born alive during abortions and then killed, their spinal cords snipped.

In the grand jury report (Grand Jury Report.pdf) on the case, released in January 2011, many pregnant women were given drugs to induce labor. According to employee Latosha Lewis "one or two babies fell out of patients each night. They dropped on lounge chairs, on the floor, and often in the toilet." [...]

The report continues: "James Johnson, who supposedly cleaned the clinic and bagged its infectious waste, confirmed Lewis's account. He testified that sometimes patients 'miscarried or whatever it was' into the toilet and clogged it."

"He described how he had to lift the toilet so that someone else – he said it was too disgusting for him – could get the fetuses out of the pipes," reads the grand jury report.

The judge's earlier decision was appallingly, outrageously wrong, but I am thanking God that he had the guts to admit that he was wrong in this on-going trial... at least in part.  I only wish he'd realize that he was entirely mistaken in dropping ANY of the murder charges at all.

It's all murder.  Mothers and babies alike.  And Gosnell was killing his own soul in committing these sins, and corrupting the souls of those who worked with him.  But, no... it was a woman's "choice"; the babies were only unwanted, "clumps of cells"; and it was all in a day's work for everyone in the clinic.  Lies.  Deciet.  Murder.

And Satan, the Father of Lies, deciet and murder was pleased.  Very, very pleased indeed.

So... the judge walked back a previous ruling surrounding "Baby C", reversing his previous ruling that a murder charge on "that child" could not progress.   Baby C was alive for 20 minutes when placed in a shoe box... before he died, so the judge ruled that one, was indeed, potentially, murder.

The HUMAN CREATED insanity of the challenge facing the judge is brutally obvious.  Which babies are actually babies, and which are not.... the definition of "life" being fought in the courtroom.

The baby whose foot merely kicked as he tried to live is considered not eligible for legal protection.  The baby who breathed a little longer is...  what determines who qualifies and who does not?  A few breaths only and the baby can be discarded... but wiggle a bit more, breathe a little more, or fight a little harder... and something changes.  What exactly is it that changes?  At what point does that change occur?

These are the actual arguments taking place inside a Philadelphia courtroom.

Humanity screams so loudly... the voices of the attorney's are irrelevant....  and I find myself filled with brutally painful tears for those who are dead under such definitions.

Gosnell Judge Reinstates Charge for Baby Tossed in Shoe Box, Still Breathing

by Steven Ertelt | Philadelphia, PA | LifeNews.com | 4/24/13

http://www.lifenews.com/2013/04/24/gosnell-judge-reinstates-charge-for-baby-tossed-in-shoe-box-still-breathing/

PHILADELPHIA - The judge in the Kermit Gosnell murder trial admitted today he made an error when dropping one of the charges against the abortion practitioner.

Common pleas court Judge Jeffrey Minehart admitted he "erred" when dropping the murder charge for Baby C, who was killed in an abortion-infanticide when he was a victim of an attempted abortion but was born alive and tossed in a shoe box, with Gosnell staffers confirming they saw him breathing for 20 minutes.

Gosnell faces eight total murder counts — one for killing a woman in a botched abortion and seven for killing babies in abortion-infanticides that involved live-birth abortions and snipping their necks after birth. The judge received heavy criticism yesterday for dropping three of the murder charges.

Gosnell's defense attorney asked the judge to drop three of the charges for killing the babies and the judge agreed with the contention there was not enough evidence to convict Gosnell on those charges. Another charge of infanticide was also dropped. He still faces the other charges the prosecution has brought and the murder trial will continue on them.

One of the three charges the judge dropped includes a 28-week unborn baby who was killed in an abortion-infanticide and eventually discovered in a freezer at Gosnell's clinic. Another involved "Baby B," about whom a Gosnell staffer testified was a newborn child who survived a failed abortion and was still breathing into a shoe box.

The third murder charge thrown out was for "Baby G," who was the subject of testimony of a former Gosnell staff who, in the grand jury report, said he saw alive. Steven Massoff said he saw exhibit "a respiratory excursion," meaning a breath.

The reinstated charge involves Baby C — about whom a Gosnell staffer testified was a newborn child who survived a failed abortion and was still breathing into a shoe box.

The reinstated charge involves Baby C — about whom a Gosnell staffer testified was a newborn child who survived a failed abortion and was still breathing into a shoe box.

During this morning's trial hearing, Judge Minehart also dismissed murder charges regarding"Baby F," who was seen by Gosnell staffers making a single leg movement after birth and before Gosnell employees snipped the infant's neck.

Kareema Cross told the jury she saw at least 10 children who were breathing after botched abortions but killed afterwards. What happened shocked her so badly she took photographs to document what happened. Cross took pictures to document filth in the abortion clinic and a picture of a huge baby boy tossed in shoe box breathing, moving, and too big for the box. Cross testified of large babies birthed, moving, and moaning some for 20 min before their necks were snipped.

Gosnell gave the unborn children digoxin not to kill baby but slow heart, Cross said. Gosnell's attorney claims the drug killed the unborn children before birth and before he snipped their necks.

But one pro-life advocate who has been following the trial closely says the charge should not have been dismissed.

"I am shocked that these counts have been dismissed. I have heard testimony by very credible witnesses to the effect that these babies were murdered in cold blood by Gosnell as they cried and struggled for life. We pray that justice will be done in the remaining five victims of Gosnell's horrific slayings," said Cheryl Sullenger, Senior Policy Advisor for Operation Rescue, who has observed the trial and published first-hand accounts of the proceedings.

Sullenger said testimony from the medical examiner and toxicologist has indicated that there was no evidence the babies were injected with Digoxin to ensure the babies were dead prior to the abortion, as the defense has claimed.

The medical examiner testified that tests were inconclusive as proof that the babies were born alive. However, the tests also did not prove the babies were dead prior to birth. Those inconclusive test results were overshadowed by the weight of testimony from witness after witness, who detailed how the babies were in fact living prior to being murdered through what one witness described as a "virtual beheading."

"If Gosnell gets off scot-free, that will send a message that murdering live babies and abortion patients is now acceptable behavior in America and that abortionists who engage in such depraved practices are above the law. This would put women and babies in grave danger – more than they already face – at abortion clinics throughout the nation," said Sullenger.

From the testimony Cross gave during the trial:

In the final day of the prosecution of former abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell, a former staffer testified that she saw at least 10 babies breathing, which were delivered at Gosnell's West Philadelphia clinic, before Gosnell or another staffer ended their lives by cutting their spinal cord with scissors.

Kareema Cross told a jury that she was so unnerved by this and other things she saw at Gosnell's West Philadelphia clinic between 2005 and 2009 that she took pictures to document the filthy conditions.

Cross, under questioning from Assistant District Attorney Joanne Pescatore, told the jury she saw at least 10 to 25 instances where babies – delivered by abortion patients after receiving labor-inducing drugs – were breathing and vividly recalled a few instances where she saw movement.

In another instance, Cross recalled when Lynda Williams, a Gosnell staffer who lived in Delaware, had a child that had been delivered by a patient and saw it breathe. "The chest was going up and down" she said.

"Lynda pulled its hand and the baby pulled the arm back," she said, adding a short time later Williams flipped the child over and "snipped" the spinal cord with a pair of scissors.

Williams, in her testimony earlier this month, testified only that she saw the baby's arm "jump" when she cut the spinal cord.

On a different occasion, Cross said she heard a baby cry out. She said a co-worker who heard it first came to get her and she listened at the door, where the baby's body was, and heard "mmm.... A whine, a soft whine, once."

During the trial Gosnell's defense lawyer, Jack McMahon, claims none of the babies were born alive who Gosnell killed in abortion-infanticide procedures but were dead before birth due to a lethal drug injection and that Gosnell and his staff "snipped" their necks after "birth." McMahon claims no babies were ever killed in the gruesome abortion process, which involved "snipping" the spinal cords of the children by jabbing medical scissors into the backs of their necks, because the babies were supposedly already dead.

That's not what two staffers for Gosnell admitted in court — with one saying she heard a baby scream and another saying the baby "jumped" when the newborn was stabbed in the neck with the scissors.

McMahon is attempting to get the jury to buy a story that Gosnell used a drug called Digoxin to kill the baby in utero and then to deliver a dead child. He claims Gosnell just wanted to "snip" the spinal cords to ensure the baby was dead already. The Gosnell staffer admitted that's what the abortion practitioner told her he was doing.

Although the defense attorney claimed the babies were dead and that jabbing them in the neck with scissors was needed to make sure that was the case, Gosnell staffers also told the court one at least two occasions that the babies were not dead when their necks were stabbed.

Dem Sen. Frank Lautenberg Introduces Bill To Fund
Abortions For Peace Corps Volunteers

(Only a Demorat would think of something this twisted)

Frank Lautenberg has just introduced the "Peace Corps Equity Act." This legislation has been introduced to ensure Peace Corps volunteers can have their abortions covered. The Peace Corps would provide coverage for the most violent act against innocent human life. This is who we are? Where even the Peace Corps has embraced abortion?

Planned Parenthood, of course, has sent out an e-mail today applauding the legislation.
