Dr. Carla Deanne Waller-Schauberger, 40, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, went to be with the Lord at 5:18 a.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at the Jane Phillips Medical Center following a sudden illness.  Dr. Waller was born on August 4, 1972 at Winfield, Kansas to Carl Dean and Patricia Margaret (Andrews) Waller.

She received her education at Cedar Vale, Kansas where she graduated from high school in 1990.  She attended college for her undergraduate work at Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas where she graduated in 1994 with a major in Biology and a minor in Music.  She then attended the Kansas City University of Medical Bio Sciences and received her Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine in 1998.  She then did her residency in the University of Oklahoma Rural Medicine program located at the Caney Valley Clinic in Ramona, Oklahoma.  Following her residency, she worked for the Mayo Clinic at Waukon, Iowa for five years.  She then returned to Ramona where she was the Assistant Director of the Caney Valley Medical Clinic.  She worked as a hospitalist with the Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville and then as a Family Medical Doctor with the Gemini Medical Center/Jane Phillips Medical Center.

She married Kurt William Schauberger in Grenola, Kansas on November 25, 2006.  She loved to travel, explore new places, and "loved being a Mom".  She was also a mentor through the Big Brothers & Big Sisters to two children, Alex in Waukon, Iowa and Angie in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.  Her patients were her life, and she provided the best medical care possible for them.  She will be missed by all who knew her.  Her home church was the Grenola Christian Church in Grenola, Kansas, and she was a member of the First Wesleyan Church in Bartlesville. 

Survivors include her husband, Kurt William Schauberger of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; one son, William Michael Schauberger, of the home; her parents, Carl and Pat Waller of Grenola, Kansas; one brother, Jerry Lynn Waller of Wichita, Kansas; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dr. Charles and Linda Schauberger of Onalaska, Wisconsin; two brothers-in-law, Dr. Eric Schauberger and his wife, Dr. Katie Schauberger and their son, Andrew of West Allis, Wisconsin, and Mark Schauberger of Onalaska, Wisconsin; a very special aunt and uncle, RuthAnn and Ellis Lovelady of Moline, Kansas; and numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins and her grandmothers-in-law, Evelyn Schauberger of Fairmont, Minnesota and Elvira Hebell of Denver, Iowa.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Clarence and Dorothea Waller and Pete and Margaret Andrews and a sister, Donna Margaret Waller.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 8, 2013 at the Grenola Christian Church at Grenola, Kansas with Pastor Justin Bates officiating.  Interment will be in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Grenola directed by the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory of Bartlesville, Oklahoma.  Memorial funds have been established, and those who wish may send their contributions to the Grenola Christian Church, Grenola, Kansas 67346 or to an education fun for her son, William Michael Schauberger which may be sent to the account of Kurt W. Schauberger, c/o Arvest Bank, P.O. Box 999, Bartlesville, Oklahoma 74005.
