Kaden Scott Coatney, the son of Zoey Elizabeth Scott and Kevin Douglas Coatney, both of Longton, Kansas, was born on Monday, February 25, 2013 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas and passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013.

Other survivors include his maternal grandparents, Patricia Cooley of Longton, Kansas and Monte Scott of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; paternal grandparents, Ken and Misty Coatney of Longton, Kansas; maternal great-grandparents, Ginger Cooley of Longton, Kansas and Katherine and Wayne Elliot of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; paternal great-grandparents, Celia and Jim Bunyard of Elk City, Kansas and Jerry and Caroline Leonard of Wellington, Kansas; aunts, Heaven Scott of Independence, Kansas, Lacy Scott of Longton, Kansas, and Kandice Hillyard and her husband, Nick of Independence, Kansas; uncle, Kenny Coatney and his wife, Sarah of Longton, Kansas; and many great-aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 4, 2013 at Countryside-Funeral Home, 206 E. Washington, Howard, Kansas.  Family has suggested memorials to Choices Medical Clinic, 535 S.
