Cindy Christine Kiel, age 59, a resident of Grenola, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at the AMG Specialty Hospital in Wichita, Kansas.  She was born on July 24, 1953 in Vancouver, Washington, the daughter of Harvey Louie Anderson and Bernice Earlene Lowder. 

In 1980, Cindy was united in marriage to Lowell Kiel, and he preceded her in death.  Cindy enjoyed reading, collecting Indian artifacts, and playing cards.

Cindy is survived by her father, Harvey Anderson of Grenola, Kansas; one brother, Glen Anderson of Gresham, Oregon; and one sister, Teresia Anderson of Gresham, Oregon.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Bernice Anderson; one sister, Dianna Langley; one brother, Michael Langley; and her stepfather, Billy Langley.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Greenlawn Cemetery in Grenola, Kansas.  Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at the funeral home.  Family suggests contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital and may be left with the funeral home.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.countrysidefh.com.  Arrangements are under the direction of Countryside-Zimmerman Funeral Home, 206 E.
