Wilma Jean Staus, age 79, of Fall River, Kansas, died Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at her home.  Wilma was born August 31, 1933 in Fall River, the daughter of Grover Cleveland and Tina (Wormington) Jones.

Wilma was a graduate of Fall River High School.  She was known for her baking of pies and wedding cakes.  She enjoyed working in her garden, doing crochet work, and watching basketball.

Wilma is survived by her daughter, Deborah Froman of Montana; her sons, Ronald Mast of Severy, Kansas, Ricky Morgan of Independence, Kansas, and Darrin Morgan of Fredonia, Kansas; her brother, Clifford Jones of Severy, Kansas; and 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.  Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Gene, Ray, Eldon, and Clayton Jones; and her sister, Ruth Lee.

Wilma requested direct cremation with no services.  The family suggests memorials to the American Diabetes Association and may be left with or sent to the funeral home.  Online condolences may be left at www.countrysidefh.com.  Services have been entrusted to Countryside Funeral Home, 420 S. 20th Street, Fredonia, Kansas 66736.
