Maybe this is The real reason Obama wants to take control of our Guns

This Obuma already knows:
1)  The "whole body of the people" are NO longer armed.  Those who are not armed, fail to see the need.  It takes an armed citizen who IS NOT dependant upon the tyrant for handouts to stand up for what they believe to be right.  That is dwindling... with people counting on food stamps... welfare recips on the dole... the younger generation clueless to what is happening and don't really care... liberal media... etc; etc;...  Obuma knows this.


2)  Unjust laws ARE being enforced without the people rising up and Obamacare is an example.  Although there was a huge resistance, the bill was passed against the will of the people.  Obuma knows this.


3)  In a country of 310 million people, the NRA has only a 4.5 million membership.  Obuma knows this.


4)  Today's army is so technologically advanced that we probably could not stand against them in the long run.  Of course, many in the army would refuse to fire on their own people and many would stand w/the people.  But.....frankly, even the thought of it is so frightening my mind chooses not to go there.  Obuma knows this.


5)  The way things are going, we'll wind up like Sweden... relying on big government.... no guns and everyone on the dole.  Obuma wants this.

Just a few counter-points here warph, and I am not trying to start an argument but...

Its not just the younger people that are clueless as to what is going on.  Afterall, it is the older generations that have allowed our government to become what it is today. 

Also, as to standing up against the military, don't underestimate the average person, espcailly in large groups.  How long as al queda been facing off with the u.s. military and doing a pretty good job of it?
