Seems the socialist lights, the RINO wing of the Republican party, agreed regarding Republican unity.  However, conservative members, on Thursday last, blew that fantasy pipe dream to pieces.  The difference between the Progressive Democrats and the bulk of the Republican leadership is in name only.

I agree... article sucks.  It's just a reflection of the same old cookie-cutter storyline that the press can't help covering with bated breath.  You'll rarely get a comparable series on divided Republicans when they disagree... that is, until it comes to something like the Fiscal Cliff.  There are about 17 repubs after Boehner's butt because they promised their constituents that the GOP would not raise taxes if they were elected, period.  Boehner shelved his lastest offer, went home to sit on the toilet and ponder what to do next.  I would say his job is probably safe.  Obuma... he doesn't give a flip.  He hit the links in Hawaii and shot a 105 and drank a six-pack of rot-gut Longboard beer.  He should have made it Primo.  Speaking of beer, here's a tip:

Now, about those politics...

The Repubs are at their highest level of control of state governments in 60 years and completely control 24 states (governor and legislature). That's a far cry from the suck year of 1976 where the GOP controlled zero states.

Come January, more than two-thirds of the states will be under single-party control, raising the prospect that bold partisan agendas, on both ends of the political spectrum, will flourish over the next couple of years.

Twenty-four states will be controlled by Republicans, including Alaska and Wisconsin, where the party took the State Senate, and North Carolina, where the governorship changed hands.  At least 13 states will be Democratic, including Colorado, Minnesota and Oregon, where control of the legislatures shifted, and California, where the already dominant Democrats gained a supermajority in both chambers.



Power will be split in, at most, 12 capitals... the fewest, said Tim Storey of the National Conference of State Legislatures, since 1952.

So while President Obama and Republican leaders in Washington have made postelection hints of an openness to compromise, many in the states may see no such need.

"The fact is, they can do whatever they want now," Chris Larson, the Democrats' newly chosen Senate minority leader in Wisconsin, said of the Republicans in his state.  He noted, glumly, that they have been holding planning meetings behind closed doors since the election.

The Repubs have nothing to be ashamed of.  They are actually sitting in the cat bird seat.

We are going to see government activism to the left and to the right that we haven't seen in years.  If you wondered what Washington would look like under single-party rule, the states are a laboratory for that now.

How about the right to keep and bear arms?  Are we to surrender that too along with nullification and secession?

Looks like the tyrants are running out of your money and they'll print money to prolong their socialist agenda.

That's human nature, Red or better yet, mankind.  Maybe in order to understand mankind we have to look at that word itself.  "MANKIND."  Basically, it's made up of two separate words "mank" and "ind."  What do these words mean?  It's a mystery and that's why so is mankind.  To answer your question... sometimes I think you have to march right in and demand your rights, even if you don't know what your rights are, or who the person is you're talking to.  Then on the way out, slam the door.
