Who is Bo Poertner?  Well, for now, just remember his name.  Some of his work has an interesting, though vile, connection to somebody in Elk County.  Here's a bit more about Bo:

Bo Poertner, an Orlando Sentinel columnist who writes for the Volusia & State section, has been charged with misdemeanor battery stemming from a dispute in July with his ex-wife.Poertner, 52, has not been arrested but is scheduled to be arraigned on Oct. 19. A complaint filed by his ex-wife, Susan Poertner, alleges that on July 17 Bo Poertner grabbed her by the wrist during a dispute.She complained of ``discomfort and redness'' but did not require medical attention. Susan Poertner filed a complaint with the Volusia County Sheriff's Office, which forwarded the information to the the State Attorney's Office.
