WILSON, Terry Wayne - b. August 19, 1965 - d. October 29, 2012

Terry Wayne Wilson, 47, retired US Postal Service employee,  passed away on October 29,2012 after a 7 year battle with cancer.  He was born in Independence, Kansas on August 19, 1965 to Morris "Stub" and Judy (Hare) Wilson.

Terry married Kim Reed in Andover, Kansas. Terry had worked for the United States Postal Service service since 1988 and had been the Postmaster in Andover for 11 years.  He was also a former postmaster at Severy, Kansas,  serving there from April 11, 1998 - July 17, 2000.  He was an all-around athlete and coach.

Terry is survived by his wife Kim; parents, Stub and Judy Wilson; children Colton Levi Wilson, Colbie Leigh and Coby Levin Hanshaw, and Caleb Liam Wilson; brother,  Marty Eugene Wilson; nephews,  Matt and Trevor Wilson; and many other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday,  October 31, 2012 at Heritage Funeral Home, 502 W. Central, Andover, Kansas.   Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Faith Baptist Church, 417 W. Central, Andover, Kansas with interment to follow at Bruno Township Cemetery, Andover.

I worked with his brother Marty and his Aunt Connie at Independence. Connie passed away a few years ago. Good family!--Jennifer
