A Strange Occurance

  About six weeks ago, we had a very strong storm blow through Moline. I keep my bird seed and stuff in trash cans out on the patio, and the lid was gone from one of them. I hunted high and low, asked all  over the neighborhood, and nobody had seen it. My neighbor told me it might be with the one that he lost about five years ago. I even put signs up around the town asking for the return of that lid. No luck. This evening I went out to feed the dogs and lo and behold that lid was laying on the back step just pretty as you please. Luckily I still have the bottom. I think the universe is playing tricks on me.

Nah,one of those nice people found it out somewhere and knew where it belonged. Or it's really a boomerang disguised as a can lid, or the wind blew the other direction for awhile and blew it back home.

You might try chaining it to a porch post to keep it home, but then maybe your house would go with it.
