Larry Joe Shinkle, 71, retired mold builder, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2012.

He is survived by May, his loving wife of 52 years; daughter, Tina (John) Napier; son, Terry Shinkle; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his son, Tim; great-grandson, Jayden; his parents; and 8 brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 9, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Smith Mortuary, 7031 S. Broadway, Haysville, Kansas.  Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 10, 2012 at Smith Mortuary.  Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Fall River, Kansas.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, Kansas 67202.
