Warph,
I've come to think that you're a pretty smart ol guy so maybe you can answer my question. If a Capt. is  incompetent, he is relieved of his command as the company Skipper---a Col. can be relieved of his command as Bn. commander for being incompetent---and so on. Is there not a "rule", a "law" or anything to relieve our CiC for being grossly incompetent ? I'm serious---isn't there something ??

***Question Of The Day***

"Howard Dean said on MSNBC's 'Morning Joe' that Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker's three and a half years of college make him 'unknowledgeable.'"

"Unknowledgeable?"  Is college the only place a person attains knowledge?  Give me a break.  I graduated from college and I've learned a great deal more since, than I ever did in college.  By the way, Walker only had another semester or so to complete before graduating.  Does this mean it's that last semester and a diploma that makes someone "knowledgeable"?

Question:  Is Scott Walker too dumb to be President??

And if you said yes, check this out:

MSNBC Cancels The Son Of Frank Sinatra, Ronan Farrow
And Also Female Sharpton, Joy Reid Shows

(Their shows are being replaced by ShamWow and Oxyclean infomercials, in an attempt to boost ratings...
Here's another glimpse of their much improved replacement.
The golden boy is about to learn a life lesson.  You either deliver revenue for your boss, or you get fired no matter what your last name is.  That's what I love about business, you either produce or your perish.  As 'Ol' Blue Eyes' would say, "That Life", Ronan, me boy, that's life... )

MSNBC will soon cancel two very unsuccessful daytime shows, "The Reid Report" and "Ronan Farrow Daily," the network revealed Thursday.

MSNBC's Thomas Roberts will be moved from his current spot anchoring "Way Too Early with Thomas Roberts" and will for now fill both soon-to-be-vacated spots.

Ronan Farrow and Joy-Ann Reid are not out the door completely: The two will remain employees of the network as it continues to struggle to find the type of ratings enjoyed by its competitors, CNN and Fox News.

Politico reported: "Ronan Farrow will launch a new series of primetime specials, featuring in-depth interviews, and will continue to be a special correspondent across programming. He will also continue his partnership with the NBC News Investigative Unit."

"Joy Ann Reid ... will become MSNBC's national correspondent across platforms, a regular contributor for MSNBC's primetime shows, and the first dedicated reporter for NowThisNews, an MSNBC online partner," the report said.[...]

A spokesperson for MSNBC said the forthcoming changes are part of a broader strategy by the network to make its daytime programming exclusively "straight news."

Turkey, U.S. Sign Deal To Train And Arm Moderate Syrian Rebels,
State Dept. Harf Is Calling The Deal 'A Jobs Program'

(Letting Jihadis kill Jihadis.  Moderates receiving more support than the Kurds and Jordan.  There is no such thing as a moderate jihadi.  These bastards would shoot you as look at you.  Its all a sham.  Removing Assad and destabilizing Syria is the goal.  Not to mention allowing Islam to rise unchecked worldwide, the caliphate is being formed.  Obuma is proving to be the satanic operative for the cabal as is so many of our government lefty politicians and Congress is sitting there, with their thumb up their a$$'$....)

The U.S. is giving a theoretically nice boost to whichever "moderate" rebels in Syria we feel deserve strong U.S. backing, the Wall Street Journal reports:

The U.S. has decided to provide pickup trucks equipped with mounted machine guns and radios for calling in U.S. airstrikes to some moderate Syrian rebels, seeking to replicate the success Kurdish forces, aided by American B-1B bombers, had over Islamic State last month.

The plan comes as the U.S. prepares to start training moderate rebels, who are waging a two-front fight against the extremists and Syrian regime forces. Defense officials said American trainers will be in place March 1 in Jordan, with a second site due to open soon after in Turkey.[...]

A team of four to six rebels will each be given a Toyota Hi-Lux pickup, outfitted with a machine gun, communications gear and Global Positioning System trackers enabling them to call in airstrikes. The fighters will also be given mortars, but the administration hasn't decided to provide the teams with more sophisticated antitank weapons.

The Central Intelligence Agency began a covert program to train and arm moderate Syrian rebels in 2013, providing ammunition, small arms and antitank weapons to small groups of trusted fighters. While that program continues, it is widely viewed as having fallen well short of its aims.

DNC's Wasserman Schultz Offered To Change Her Position On Medical Pot
If Top Dem Donor Took Back His Criticism Of Her

(I'm shocked said . . . nobody.  It's good to see the two of these clowns mixing it up.  The personal injury law firm of Morgan & Morgan was the employer of Florida's ex Governor Charlie Christ when he came out of the closet as a Democrat...)

Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz's office offered to change her position on medical marijuana if a major Florida donor recanted his withering criticism of her, according to emails obtained by POLITICO.

The proposal to Orlando trial lawyer John Morgan was straightforward: retract critical statements he made to a reporter in return for Wasserman Schultz publicly backing his cannabis initiative that she had trashed just months earlier. Morgan declined the offer with a sharp email reply sent to a go-between, who described the congresswoman as being in a "tizzy."

"No," Morgan responded. "She is a bully. I beat bullies up for a living."

Wasserman Schultz declined to comment.

Morgan said he forwarded the email chain to POLITICO on Thursday to show how "thin-skinned" and transactional Wasserman Schultz's political team is, he said in a brief phone conversation.

Report: 20,000 – 25,000 Troops To Retake Mosul Beginning In April, May:
(ISIS Unaware Of US Plans... oh, so sorry, we just told them...)

(Instead of weapons the troops will be carrying job applications...)

Via CNS News

The operation to retake Iraq's second largest city from Islamic State militants will likely begin in April or May and will involve about 12 Iraqi brigades, or between 20,000 and 25,000 troops, a senior U.S. military official said Thursday.

Laying out details of the expected Mosul operation for the first time, the official from U.S. Central Command said five Iraqi Army brigades will soon go through coalition training in Iraq to prepare for the mission. Those five would make up the core fighting force that would launch the attack, but they would be supplemented by three smaller brigades serving as reserve forces, along with three Peshmerga brigades who would contain the Islamic State fighters from the north and west.

The Peshmerga are Kurdish forces from northern Iraq.

The official said there also would be a Mosul fighting force, largely made up of former Mosul police and tribal forces, who would have to be ready to go back into the city once the army units clear out the Islamic State fighters.[...]

The official said the U.S. will provide military support for the operation, including training, air support, intelligence and surveillance. The official said there has been no decision made yet on whether to send in some U.S. ground troops to help call in airstrikes.

Islamic State militants overtook Mosul last June, as the group marched across large sections of Iraq and Syria, sending Iraqi forces fleeing. At this point, officials estimate there are between 1,000 to 2,000 Islamic State insurgents in the city of Mosul. Military leaders have been talking about retaking the city for some time, but they have said they won't launch the operation until the Iraqi troops are ready.

The official said they wanted to retake Mosul in the spring, before the summer heat and the holiday month of Ramadan kick in.

Authorities in the Windy City are on the lookout for a minivan packed with pooches that was taken by a pair of armed gunmen Wednesday.

As reported by ABC7,  the 2002 Chrysler Town and Country minivan was stolen at about 4 p.m. on Feb. 18 by two men described only as being between 18-25.

Inside the vehicle, operated by Urban Out Sitters, an animal day care service in the city, were a half dozen dogs belonging to various owners.

"I got a text from my wife saying my dog had been kidnapped. I couldn't comprehend what that meant. I called her back immediately and she told me what happened and I was just in shock," said Tad Tomita, owner of one of the missing dogs.

The owner of the service, Joseph Giannini, is hopeful that the situation will be quickly resolved.

"We're hoping that people will see a van with barking dogs in it and know that's not right and will call police immediately," Giannini told the Chicago Tribune. "That's where we are hoping we will find the van."

NY Democrat Runs Out Of Guns To Ban, Now Seeks To Outlaw Sale Of Machetes

The sale of machetes should be outlawed after several recent attacks, a Queens pol said Wednesday.

State Sen. Tony Avella plans to introduce a bill to ban the possession of the scary blades in New York.

"The fact that anyone can easily purchase this potentially lethal tool is just crazy," he said.

Smaller knives such as switchblades and gravity knives are already banned and listed as deadly weapons under state law, but machetes are considered the same as butcher knives.

Jobs For Jihadis:
Uruguay's President Slams Gitmo Detainees Resettled
In His Country For Being Lazy, Refusing To Work

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2959989/Uruguay-president-says-former-Guantanamo-prisoners-lazy-middle-class-resettled-country-turned-jobs.html?ito=social-twitter_mailonline

Uruguay's president has accused six former Guantanamo Bay inmates of lacking a work ethic and being 'middle class' for refusing to get jobs since arriving in the South American country three months ago.

President Jose Mujica has appeared to criticise the men, who were locked up for more than 12 years in the American detainment camp in Cuba, saying they lacked a work ethic.

But the men are equally disappointed with their new lives – with one telling the press they had simply swapped one prison for another.

The men arrived in Montevideo in December, after Mujica said his country would take them in and help them get resettled.

The six, who were detained as suspected militants with ties to al-Qaeda in 2002 but were never charged, were cleared for release in 2009.

But they were stuck in Guantanamo for the next five years because they could not be sent home – and no one wanted them, until Uruguay stepped into the breach.

Report: Butthead Obuma's New Anti-ISIS Propaganda Chief Has Close Ties to Muslim Brotherhood

The Obama administration is revamping its efforts to combat Islamic State (ISIS or ISIL) propaganda. ISIS and its supporters produce "as many as 90,000 tweets and other social media responses every day," reports The New York Times.

An empowered Center for Strategic Counterterrorism Communications, currently a small component of the U.S. State Department, will spearhead the new campaign to fight the ISIS propaganda machine.

Rashad Hussain, a Muslim American with close ties to the White House, will replace Alberto Fernandez, the center's director, according to The Times.

Hussain, who has reportedly participated in events linked to the Muslim Brotherhood, currently serves as Obama's special envoy to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. He will take over when Fernandez retires in April.

"Hussain, a devout Muslim, has a history of participating in events connected with the Muslim Brotherhood," reported Cal Thomas in an article published by Townhall.
