The "Liberal Progressive" party has passed National Healthcare which takes effect 2014.  Soon, we will all learn to love Big Brother.  It is happening right before our eyes.  But, why should we care?  We just turn the channel and lose ourselves in some scripted fantasy on TV and forget about it.  In 30 minutes the pain is gone.  We are so easily mesmerized and reprogrammed.  We had a Constitutional Republic, once, that limited government, but we just misplaced it somehow, somewhere along the way.  Winston never had a chance to go to the polls and stop the madness at the ballot box.  If you are smart, and if you have any ambition, any desire for liberty and the pursuit of happiness, vote down these Progressives that pretend to love you every chance you get.  Just like in "1984", the Progressives are hellbent on achieving power and domination of the individual.  They are drunk on power and arrogant beyond belief.  But then again, why fight it for 40 years like Winston did?  Resistance is futile?  Big Brother knows what is best for you. Big Brother provides for you.  He gives you healthcare, food stamps, and 'free' services.  Maybe we should just give in now and start loving Big Brother and forget this 1776 pipedream about Liberty and Freedom and the Pursuit of Happiness?  Naw...  Not me.  I'm looking forward to every Election Day.  I'm going to fight them to the last!  Tell the band to play the "1812 Overture" and let the "War of 2014" begin. Throw all these Liberal Progressive Marxists out of office!!!

Lets call this:        Barack Obuma's "2014"

#10 - TRAMPLED UPON

"Do you begin to see, then, what kind of world we are creating? It is the exact opposite of the stupid hedonistic Utopias that the old reformers imagined. A world of fear and treachery and torment, a world of trampling and being trampled upon, a world which will grow not less but more merciless as it refines itself. Progress in our world will be progress toward more pain."

#09 - THOUGHT POLICE

"There was of course no way of knowing whether you were being watched at any given moment. How often, or on what system, the Thought Police plugged in on any individual wire was guesswork. It was even conceivable that they watched everybody all the time. But at any rate they could plug in your wire whenever they wanted to. You had to live—did live, from habit that became instinct—in the assumption that every sound you made was overheard, and, except in darkness, every movement scrutinized."

#08 - THREE SLOGANS

"From where Winston stood it was just possible to read, picked out on its white face in elegant lettering, the three slogans of the Party:
WAR IS PEACE
FREEDOM IS SLAVERY
IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH."

#07 - HOLLOW

"Never again will you be capable of ordinary human feeling. Everything will be dead inside you. Never again will you be capable of love, or friendship, or joy of living, or laughter, or curiosity, or courage, or integrity. You will be hollow. We shall squeeze you empty and then we shall fill you with ourselves."

#06 - PURE POWER

"The Party seeks power entirely for its own sake. We are not interested in the good of others; we are interested solely in power. Not wealth or luxury or long life or happiness: only power, pure power. What pure power means you will understand presently. We are different from all the oligarchies of the past, in that we know what we are doing. All the others, even those who resembled ourselves, were cowards and hypocrites. The German Nazis and the Russian Communists came very close to us in their methods, but they never had the courage to recognize their own motives. They pretended, perhaps they even believed, that they had seized power unwillingly and for a limited time, and that just round the corner there lay a paradise where human beings would be free and equal. We are not like that. We know that no one ever seizes power with the intention of relinquishing it. Power is not a means; it is an end. One does not establish a dictatorship in order to safeguard a revolution; one makes the revolution in order to establish the dictatorship. The object of persecution is persecution. The object of torture is torture. The object of power is power."

#05 - ERRONEOUS THOUGHT

"We are not content with negative obedience, nor even with the most abject submission. When finally you surrender to us, it must be of your own free will. We do not destroy the heretic because he resists us; so long as he resists us we never destroy him. We convert him, we capture his inner mind, we reshape him. We burn all evil and all illusion out of him; we bring him over to our side, not in appearance, but genuinely, heart and soul. We make him one of ourselves before we kill him. It is intolerable to us that an erroneous thought should exist anywhere in the world, however secret and powerless it may be. Even in the instance of death we cannot permit any deviation . . . we make the brain perfect before we blow it out."

#04 - PERFECT UNITY

"The ideal set up by the Party was something huge, terrible, and glittering—a world of steel and concrete, of monstrous machines and terrifying weapons—a nation of warriors and fanatics, marching forward in perfect unity, all thinking the same thoughts and shouting the same slogans, perpetually working, fighting, triumphing, persecuting—three hundred million people all with the same face."

#03 - ECSTASY OF FEAR

"A hideous ecstasy of fear and vindictiveness, a desire to kill, to torture, to smash faces in with a sledge hammer, seemed to flow through the whole group of people like an electric current, turning one even against one's will into a grimacing, screaming lunatic. And yet the rage that one felt was an abstract, undirected emotion which could be switched from one object to another like the flame of a blowlamp."

#02 - A PICTURE OF THE FUTURE

"We shall abolish the orgasm. Our neurologists are at work upon it now. There will be no loyalty, except loyalty towards the Party. There will be no love, except the love of Big Brother. There will be no laughter, except the laugh of triumph over a defeated enemy. There will be no art, no literature, no science. When we are omnipotent there will be no need of science. There will be no distinction between beauty and ugliness. There will be no curiosity, no enjoyment of the process of life. All competing pleasures will be destroyed. But always—do not forget this Winston—always there will be the intoxication of power, constantly increasing and constantly growing subtler. Always, at every moment, there will be the thrill of victory, the sensation of trampling on an enemy who is helpless. If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face—forever."

#01 - VICTORY **Spoiler Alert!**

"He gazed up at the enormous face. Forty years it had taken him to learn what kind of smile was hidden beneath the dark moustache. O cruel, needless misunderstanding! O stubborn, self-willed exile from the loving breast! Two gin-scented tears trickled down the sides of his nose. But it was all right, everything was all right, the struggle was finished. He had won the victory over himself. He loved Big Brother."

Obuma Threatens To Veto Bill If It Contains Religious Protection Amendment
For Members Of The Military
(The amendment was passed after a rash of reports of military members being persecuted for their Christian beliefs by Obuma
)

Breitbart News reported last week that Rep. John Fleming (R-LA) passed an amendment in the House Armed Services Committee protecting religious speech of service members in the military. President Barack Obama has now threatened to veto the bill if it passes the full House and Senate.

The White House released a Statement of Administration Policy (SAP) on H.R. 1960, the National Defense Authorization Act of 2014. Among other items, the SAP includes as an objection to the bill:

"Expansion and Implementation of Protection of Rights of Conscience of Members of the Armed Forces and Chaplains of Such Members: The Administration strongly objects to section 530, which would require the Armed Forces to accommodate, except in cases of military necessity, "actions and speech" reflecting the "conscience, moral principles, or religious beliefs of the member." By limiting the discretion of commanders to address potentially problematic speech and actions within their units, this provision would have a significant adverse effect on good order, discipline, morale, and mission accomplishment."
The SAP includes a veto threat: "...if the bill is presented to the President for approval in its current form, the President's senior advisers would recommend that the President veto the bill."

(The last time we heard from Ambassador Gutman [who raised $500,000 for Obama's campaign] he was blaming Israel for rampant Muslim anti-Semitism)

WASHINGTON Post — A State Department whistleblower has accused high-ranking staff of a massive coverup — including keeping a lid on findings that members of then-Secretary Hillary Clinton's security detail and the Belgian ambassador solicited prostitutes.

A chief investigator for the agency's inspector general wrote a memo outlining eight cases that were derailed by senior officials, including one instance of interference by Clinton's chief of staff, Cheryl Mills.

Any mention of the cases was removed from an IG report about problems within the Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS), which provides protection and investigates crimes involving any State Department workers overseas.

"It's a coverup," declared Cary Schulman, a lawyer representing the whistleblower, former State Department IG senior investigator Aurelia Fedenisn."The whole agency is impaired.
"Undue influence . . . is coming from political appointees. It's coming from above the criminal- investigation unit," added Schulman, whose client provided the document with the revelations.

Some of the revelations were first reported by CBS News.

Among the bombshell findings:

*** A DS agent was called off a case against US Ambassador to Belgium Howard Gutman over claims that he solicited prostitutes, including minors.

"The agent began his investigation and had determined that the ambassador routinely ditched his protective security detail in order to solicit sexual favors from both prostitutes and minor children," says the memo.

"The ambassador's protective detail and the embassy's surveillance detection team . . . were well aware of the behavior."

Undersecretary of State for Management Patrick Kennedy ordered the investigation ceased, and the ambassador remains in place, according to the memo.

Gutman was a big Democratic donor before taking the post, having raised $500,000 for President Obama's 2008 campaign and helping finance his inaugural.

Gallup: Obama Approval Rating Hits Nine Month Low

Via Breitbart:

For the first time in over nine months, Gallup's tracking poll has President Obama's job approval rating sinking to 45%. The last time that happened was back in September of 2012. Moreover, the president's disapproval rating has climbed to 47%, meaning he is upside down. The last time that happened was nearly as long ago.

Another reliable way to tell if Obama's job approval ratings are sinking is when the media stops talking about it — which is exactly what we are experiencing now. The media is avoiding talk of Obama's falling poll numbers like the plague.

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker To Sign Law Requiring Ultrasound Before An Abortion Is Performed

(AWESOME)

(From the AP) — Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker said Tuesday he will sign a measure that's quickly working its way through the Republican-controlled Legislature that would require women seeking an abortion to undergo an ultrasound.

The Senate debated the measure Tuesday, a week after it was introduced, but Democrats used a procedural move to delay a vote until Wednesday morning. The Assembly hoped to take it up Thursday.

While Democrats were able to temporarily hold up the bill, they don't have the votes to kill it.

Sen. Jon Erpenbach, D-Middleton, said the proposal is intended to "tell women they can't think or make decision on their own."

Sen. Tim Cullen, D-Janesville, added the Legislature would interfere in physicians' medical decisions by mandating ultrasounds.

"All of a sudden the Senate is full of doctors." he joked.

The support from Walker, a longtime abortion opponent, was no surprise.

Leftist Member Of Pro-Trayvon Martin Group Tries To Sneak On To Zimmerman Jury

(Shockingly, he's an "unemployed painter and musician" [along with being a member of a "progressive" group "dedicated to seeking justice for Trayvon Martin"])

Via NY Daily News:
A member of a pro-Travyon Martin group was unmasked Wednesday as he tried to get on the Florida jury in George Zimmerman's trial for shooting the unarmed teen.

A white male potential juror identified on his Facebook page as Jerry Counelis gave long, rambling answers about his impartiality when asked basic questions by attorneys.

Counelis, known as panelist E-7, said he was an unemployed painter and musician and had no problem being sequestered if chosen to serve on the jury.

After both prosecution and defense attorneys finished questioning the potential juror, they requested a sidebar with the judge.

Nelson circled something on a piece of paper and handed it to him, and told him to look at it and tell the court if he posted it.

Counelis said 'yes,' and was dismissed from the room. It's not clear if he's been taken off the list of potential jurors.

According to its Facebook page, the Coffee Party Progressives is a group "dedicated to seeking justice for Trayvon Martin."

Angry Mom Outraged Over Brief Prayer At Pretend Preschool Commencement Ceremony,
Has Militant Atheist Group Threaten School
(Some people are just miserable bastards who live to make other
people as miserable as they are)

Via Yahoo News:
The Madison, Wisconsin-based Freedom from Religion Foundation has sent a two-page letter to a school district in southeast Texas complaining about a preschool graduation ceremony begun with an unconstitutional prayer.

The controversial supplication occurred on May 31 in a classroom at Amelia Elementary School in Beaumont, reports local ABC affiliate KBMT. A preschool student led the brief prayer, which ended with the words "In Jesus' name, Amen." The student seems to have been following the instruction of a preschool teacher.

Amber Barnhill, a self-identified Christian and one of the parents in attendance at the graduation, spoke with the teacher responsible for the prayer. This conversation must have gone poorly. Barnhill told the ABC affiliate that she was especially offended by the teacher's response.

"She said it was legal, that it was freedom of speech," Barnhill told the station. "She said it wasn't her religion; it was her way of life. And she continually said that she could not allow herself to apologize."

The teacher with whom Barnhill spoke would only speak anonymously with KBMT but she tells of a pretty different exchange.

"The little girl said something like, 'Thank you God for this day. Bless us all. In Jesus' name, Amen," the unnamed teacher explained. "I didn't intend to impose. I just tried to mock a graduation. I did apologize to the lady who was the only one that I found that was offended."

Fun Fact Of The Day:
Mosque's Are Off-Limits To Obama's Snooping

Thankfully there's no such thing as Islamic terrorism ::)

Via IBD:
The White House assures that tracking our every phone call and keystroke is to stop terrorists, and yet it won't snoop in mosques, where the terrorists are.

That's right, the government's sweeping surveillance of our most private communications excludes the jihad factories where homegrown terrorists are radicalized.

Since October 2011, mosques have been off-limits to FBI agents. No more surveillance or undercover string operations without high-level approval from a special oversight body at the Justice Department dubbed the Sensitive Operations Review Committee.

Who makes up this body, and how do they decide requests? Nobody knows; the names of the chairman, members and staff are kept secret.

We do know the panel was set up under pressure from Islamist groups who complained about FBI stings at mosques. Just months before the panel's formation, the Council on American-Islamic Relations teamed up with the ACLU to sue the FBI for allegedly violating the civil rights of Muslims in Los Angeles by hiring an undercover agent to infiltrate and monitor mosques there.

Before mosques were excluded from the otherwise wide domestic spy net the administration has cast, the FBI launched dozens of successful sting operations against homegrown jihadists — inside mosques — and disrupted dozens of plots against the homeland.
