DHS HIDES CRUCIAL FACT ON 'TERRORIST INFLUX'
Mall attackers recruited from 1 state in particular
Published: 1 hour ago

Al-Shabab terrorist on propaganda video seeking to inspire lone-wolf attacks on malls, including the Mall of America in Minnesota.

Homeland Security Chief Jeh Johnson warned that a Somalia-based terrorist group is encouraging "independent actors" to carry out attacks in Western countries, with the Mall of America in Minnesota among the specific targets, but he failed to mention that the U.S. continues to import hundreds of high-risk Islamic refugees from Somalia every month.

The U.S. State Department's refugee-resettlement program has placed more than 100,000 Somalis into U.S cities and towns since the early 1990s – all of them Muslims hand-selected by the United Nations refugee agency. And Minnesota has become the most popular destination, with secondary hotspots in Maine, Ohio, Colorado and southern California. More than 800 new refugees from Somalia arrive in the United States every month, according to Refugee Resettlement Watch.

The constant influx has earned parts of Minneapolis the nickname "Little Mogadishu."

Johnson told CNN Sunday that terrorist groups such as Somalia-based al-Shabab are "relying more and more on independent actors to become inspired" and "attack on their own."

But he made no mention in any of his interviews on Sunday morning news shows of the program that brings these potential "independent actors" to the U.S. in the first place.

Johnson said there was a need for a "comprehensive" approach to fighting the ever-present threat posed by terror groups, including al-Shabab and the Islamic State or ISIS.

One would think that cutting off the spigot of Islamic immigration would play a role in any truly comprehensive approach, said Islam expert Robert Spencer, who runs the JihadWatch blog at the David Horowitz Freedom Center.

To talk about tackling the problem without addressing the refugee pipeline is disingenuous, Spencer said.

"The government's 'concern' about these threats is completely undercut by the Obama administration's immigration policies," said Spencer. "More than 800 Somalis a month are entering the country."

The latest attempt to inspire so-called "lone-wolf" attacks came Saturday when a video was posted on the Internet featuring an al-Shabab terrorist who appeared to be a Somali wearing a scarf over his face and speaking in a British accent. He urged like-minded Muslims to carry out attacks against shopping malls in their home countries.

The Somali terrorist provided three examples of what he believes would make wonderful targets – the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota, the West Edmonton Mall in Alberta, Canada, and the Oxford Street shopping area in London.

He showed a picture of the Mall of America with GPS coordinates.

The video showed six minutes of graphic images and the terrorists celebrating the 2013 Westgate Mall attack in Nairobi, Kenya, which killed 67 people. In that attack, many of the shoppers were asked if they were Christian. If they said yes, they were summarily executed.

The deputy director of the FBI's counter-terrorism unit, Michael Steinbach, told a congressional committee on Feb. 11 that it is virtually impossible for the U.S. to screen out terrorists from the U.N.'s Syrian refugees camps because Syria is a "failed state" with no reliable police or intelligence data. The same could be said for Somalia, which has been wracked by civil war since the early 1990s. Yet the U.S. has been accepting a steady stream of refugees from that country since 1992.

Spencer said the U.S. government can't claim "concern" about jihadists carrying out lone-wolf attacks but then fail to shut down the main pipeline into the country, which is the refugee resettlement program.

These immigrants did not just magically appear on U.S. soil, as many of the major media reports would suggest. They were brought here with the full support of the White House and Congress, and there is thus far no indication that anyone wants to rein in the refugee program even though there have been widespread abuses, such as in 2008 when the State Department admitted that up to 20,000 Somalis lied on their refugee applications to get into the U.S., making false claims of American family members.

Others have been caught sending aid to al-Shabab or leaving the country to go fight for the al-Qaida offshoot. Spencer said there is no fool-proof way to determine whether Somali refugees have any allegiance to al-Shabab.

"The government could have imported as 'refugees' the very people who could carry out a jihad attack at the Mall of America," he said. "The duplicity is as astounding as the indifference of the Republicans and the mainstream media."

Problems assimilating

Minnesota now has the largest population of Somali-Americans, estimated at from 50,000 to 80,000, concentrated mostly in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area. The Somali community has had problems integrating into the mainstream of American society. They have called for foot baths at colleges, demanded halal foods at schools, hospitals and prisons, and filed lawsuits against employers who don't accommodate their special needs related to dress codes or prayer times.

About 70 percent of the 900 cab drivers at the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport are Somali men. They have repeatedly refused to transport dogs, both pets and guide dogs for the blind, as many news outlets have reported, including WND.

While there has been widespread media coverage recently about the national-security risks associated with bringing in a new wave of refugees from Syria, little has made its way into the establishment media about the thousands of Somalis who have already come to America, and continue to come despite increasing signs of radicalization. Dozens of Muslim youths in Minnesota have fallen prey to radical teachings both in mosques and over the Internet, with approximately 25 documented cases of Somalis having left Minnesota to fight for al-Shabab over the past five years, according to the FBI.

At least a dozen other Somalis from Minnesota have left or attempted to leave to go fight for ISIS, WND reported previously. Still others have been arrested, charged and convicted for sending financial aid or other support to foreign terrorist organizations.

Pamela Geller, author of "Stop the Islamization of America" and the AtlasShrugged blog, is another critic of the government's refugee program.

"I've been warning about our refugee resettlement programs for years. In my book, I detail how these programs give preferential treatment to Muslims, even over Christians and other non-Muslims who face Muslim persecution," she said. "There is no telling how many actual and potential jihadis we have brought into this country as 'refugees.'"

Pressure from CAIR, ISNA

Any attempts to address this national-security issue have been undermined by groups such the Council on American-Islamic Relations, or CAIR, and the Islamic Society of North America, or ISNA, she said, adding that these groups are continuously pushing for what she calls "Islamic supremacy."

"Rep. Peter King's hearings on these matters were widely derided in the media and attacked by Islamic supremacist groups," Geller said.

The problem is that most media companies care what groups like CAIR and ISNA think of them, Geller said, even though these organizations have no credibility and were found to have direct ties to Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood during the Holy Land Foundation terror-funding trial of 2008-2009.

"The mainstream media are no longer a news-gathering industry but an activist organization aligned with the Obama administration and the jihad force," Geller said.

Local residents concerned

Debra Anderson, a resident of Minneapolis and an activist who has fought the growth of mosques in the area, said the latest threat by al-Shabab is terrifying for local residents.

"If they're comparing it to the Westgate Mall in Kenya, oh my God, they tortured most of those people before killing them, they tortured them," Anderson said. "When, not if, it happens here it is going to be ugly, really ugly, and we need to have some preparations in place."

In the same city where Mall of America is located, Bloomington, is the Dar Al Farooq Islamic Youth and Family Center. This mosque is led by radical imam Waleed Edreese al-Meneese, who is a Ph.D. on the faculty of the Islamic University of Minnesota and the American Open University in Washington, D.C., teaching Islamic studies and Shariah law.

Waleed Edreese al-Meneese

For the past nine years, Meneese has been a member of the Permanent Fatwa Committee of the Assembly of Muslim Jurists in America as well as a member of the Board of Trustees of the North American Imams Federation and the American Muslim Jurists of America, an organization that instructs other imams and has been known to teach a literal interpretation of the Quran on everything from female genital mutilation to death for apostate Muslims.

"The Middle East is sending their best imams here to proselytize and convert," Anderson said.

Obama Gives Islamic Salute at Muslim Terrorism Whitewashing Conference

To no one's surprise, Obama is using his farcical Summit on Countering Violent Extremism, which consists partially of Muslims with terror ties, to absolve Islam of Islamic terrorism by pretending it doesn't exist.

There is only one reason he would do this: he is yet again siding with expansionist Islam against its Western victims. In case any of his Islamic compadres have been rendered so mentally defective through generations of inbreeding as not to understand whose side he is on, he sent them an unmistakable signal:

One of the few things Obama has not made a secret of is his Islamic background (father and stepfather both Muslims, went to Muslim school, etc.). He even announced prior to his election that the sound of Muslim prayers is "one of the prettiest sounds on Earth" and that he would "stand with" Muslims against his own country. Hiding his Islamic background would have been counterproductive, considering that his very name screams Muslim. He was elected within a few years of 9/11 not despite this, but because of it, in the most contemptible attempt at appeasement imaginable.

There is no way Obama doesn't know what his gesture means:

The one-finger display is the distinctive Muslim gang sign: The index finger points straight up while the thumb wraps underneath and presses against the digital phalange of the middle finger. The remaining fingers are squeezed against the palm in order to highlight the extended forefinger. The extended finger is symbolic of the one-God concept of Muhammad and is understood by all believers to be a symbolic shahada, the Muslim affirmation of faith: There is but one God and Muhammad is his messenger.

Making this sign isn't just a tip of the hat to Islam. It literally means: "I am a Muslim."

Apparently Obama has been practicing taqiyya by calling himself a Christian, not that anyone familiar with the Marxist, anti-American, anti-white ravings that passed for sermons in his "church" ever took that claim seriously.

If Obama did not identify with expansionist Islam, there would be no way to make sense of his policies in the Middle East, where he has consistently sided with Islamists against those trying to keep them under control.

The thread of all of these efforts was the reestablishment of the Islamic caliphate, the line of successors of Muhammad that ended nearly a century ago with the collapse of the Ottoman Empire. This has always been a Muslim Brotherhood objective. In their grandiose plans, the reestablished caliphate would stretch across the Middle East with Jerusalem as its capital. The glory of Islam resurrected! These people aspire to world domination, and the caliphate would serve as the base for an ever-expanding war on the world until domination is achieved. That was always the goal of their role model. Muhammad ordered his followers to make Islam the only religion — to create a universal umma. As with Obama, they are just following orders.

Obama's gesture, at a time when the world is reeling from a constant onslaught of Islamic terrorism, is the direct equivalent of a president raising his arm in a heil Hitler to fellow Germans during WWII.
A couple of examples of his ummah compatriots flashing the same salute, via Pamela Geller:

Even kids know what it means:

C'mon soldiers of Allah, all together now:

Check out Obama's self-satisfied expression as Muslims behind him (Ibrahim Boubacas Keita of Mali, Abdelilah Berkirane of Morroco) smile in appreciation. Apparently he thinks he outsmarted us.

He doesn't realize that America wasn't murdered when he was elected. It attempted suicide.

We didn't know he is still a Muslim, but we knew he would side with our worst enemy against us, if only due to his hostile antineocolonialist ideology. Only complete idiots had no idea what they were doing to America when they voted for Obama. The past two presidential elections were self-directed acts of malice.

But maybe, even though the country slit one wrist in 2008 and the other in 2012, it might not be too late to stanch the bleeding and decide to live. This would require absolute rejection not just of Obama, but of those who put him in power and their treasonous politically correct mentality.

Why Arab Ground Troops Won't Defeat ISIS

February 23, 2015
By Bobby Ghosh  Quartz

It is one thing for the Egyptian air force to bomb ISIS from the air. But the ability of Arab militaries to fight an organized, motivated enemy is highly suspect.

Many in the West will take heart from the news that Egypt's dictator, Gen. Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, is calling for a joint Arab military force to take on Islamist extremism in the region. Coming shortly after his air force carried out bombing runs in Libya against groups that have pledged fealty to ISIL, it is tempting to take Sisi's proclamation as a call to arms against the monstrous terrorist organization that calls itself the Islamic State. It raises the prospect of Arab boots on the ground in Syria and Iraq, taking on, with the help of Western planes and drones—ISIL.

Ready for the reality check?

It is one thing for the Egyptian air force to bomb ISIL—aka ISIS—from the air. But when it comes to ground troops, the ability of Arab militaries to fight an organized, motivated enemy is highly suspect. (That may explain why, only last week, Sisi was calling for a United Nations force to bring order to Libya.)

It has been decades since the Egyptian military has fought a full-fledged war, and the last time it was deployed in another Arab country—in Yemen in the 1960s—it was humiliated. Since then, Egypt's rulers have used their army mainly to bully and beat up unarmed civilians protesting against oppression, and to fight homegrown terrorist groups in the Sinai Peninsula. They've been pretty good at the former, but not especially effective at the latter. Despite official claims of successes in the Sinai, terrorists attacks have been on the rise, and it is a bad sign that the Sisi regime feels it necessary to exercise strict censorship on reporting from the peninsula.

If Egypt's recent track record is dismal, the history of Arab military cooperation isn't especially reassuring, either. Some Western analysts hope that the GCC Peninsula Shield, a 40,000-strong force made up of countries in the Persian Gulf, can be brought to bear against ISIL. But like the Egyptian military, this mini-military was built mainly to protect Gulf regimes from internal political unrest. The Peninsula Force was most recently deployed in Bahrain in 2011, to stamp down civilian rallies against the royal family.

It's worth remembering, too, that one of the most powerful Arab militaries—Syria's—has been fighting against ISIL for nigh on four years. The forces of Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad enjoy home-field advantage, and are not restrained by any concern for civilian casualties or such niceties as the Geneva conventions. Assad's planes and tanks have flattened entire towns and cities, and still have failed to defeat ISIL, much less recover territory under the terrorists' control.

The other Arab military in the war against ISIL, Iraq's, seems to be leaving the hardest fighting to Kurdish militias and Iran-backed Shi'ite gangs. Last week, as the Pentagon talked up an Iraqi-led, US-guided offensive against Mosul, many Iraqi leaders were skeptical that their troops would be ready.

None of this is to suggest that the fight against ISIL will not require Arab military involvement—it will. But just as in the current air campaign against the terrorists in Syria and Iraq, regional forces can at best be expected to put in a token effort. When the time comes for a ground offensive against ISIL, expect the heavy lifting to be done by battle-hardened Western troops, rather than the tin soldiers who make up most Arab militaries.

Chris Kyle Killer Convicted Of Murder

(Automatic life without parole...)

STEPHENVILLE, Texas (AP) — A former Marine was convicted Tuesday in the deaths of the "American Sniper" author and another man at a shooting range two years ago, as jurors rejected defense arguments that he was insane and suffered from psychosis.

The trial of Eddie Ray Routh has drawn intense interest, in part because of the blockbuster film based on former Navy SEAL Chris Kyle's memoir about his four tours in Iraq.

Since prosecutors didn't seek the death penalty in the capital murder case, the 27-year-old receives an automatic life sentence without parole in the deaths of Kyle and Kyle's friend, Chad Littlefield.

The prosecution painted Routh as a troubled drug user who knew right from wrong, despite any mental illnesses. While trial testimony and evidence often included Routh making odd statements and referring to insanity, he also confessed several times, apologized for the crimes and tried to evade police.

Poll: Americans Think Giuliani Is More Patriotic Than Obama, 58% Say Rudy "Loves America," Just 47% For Obama

(Liberal meltdown in 3... 2... 1...)

Via YouGov:
https://today.yougov.com/news/2015/02/24/obama-patriotism/

Last week former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani claimed that President Obama "doesn't love America" at a fundraiser for potential Republican Presidential candidate Scott Walker. The comments caused a major controversy, and only this week has Giuliani partially walked back from his words saying in an editorial in the Wall Street Journal that he didn't "intend to question President Obama's motives of the content of his heart".

YouGov's latest research shows that Americans do tend to think that Barack Obama does, in fact, love America. 47% say that the president loves America, while 35% agree with Rudy Giuliani that the president does not. There is a predictably large partisan divide on the issue, however, with 85% of Democrats saying that he loves America and 69% of Republicans saying that he does not. Independents are roughly divided on the issue, with 42% saying he loves the country and 38% saying he doesn't.

58% of Americans, including 54% of Democrats, say that Rudy Giuliani loves America. Only 10% say that he does not.

Broken down along ideological lines, liberals (13%) are more likely than either moderates (5%) or conservatives (4%) to say that they do not love America. 90% of conservatives say that they love America, compared to 85% of moderates and 82% of liberals.

American Writer Who Spoke Against Islamists Hacked To Death
By Machete-Wielding Men In Bangladesh

(Will he even earn a strongly-worded letter?  And he's not the first. Others bloggers/writers have been hacked to death in the past in Bangladesh for daring to write thing s that Islamists found offensive...)

Via BDNews:

Unidentified assailants have hacked to death writer Avijit Roy and seriously injured his blogger wife Rafida Ahmed Banna.

Police said the couple came under assault near TSC intersection at Dhaka University around 9:30pm on Thursday.

Witnesses said they were on a rickshaw returning from the Amar Ekushey Book Fair when two attackers stopped it, dragged them onto the footpath and started hacking them.

They were rushed to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) where doctors declared Avijit dead during an emergency surgery, its police outpost Inspector Mozzamel Haque told bdnews24.com.

DMCH casualty department's Residential Surgeon Riaz Morshed also confirmed bdnews24.com about Avijit Roy's death.

Islamist zealots have been threatening Avijit, a bioengineer and a naturalised US citizen, for his active campaign against Islamist radicals.
