Last Sunday, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Martin Dempsey, indicated that he expected a decision "fairly soon" on whether the Army will court martial Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl for allegedly deserting his post in Afghanistan, or has cleared him, paving the way for separation from the service and back pay in excess of $200,000. Moreover, a decision to clear Bergdahl may well open the door for him to be designated a former prisoner of war, ensuring him substantial monthly pay, medical and educational benefits for the rest of his life.

To those who have followed all angles of Bergdahl's case, it appears the Army has a true dilemma on its hands, as does the Obama administration. By now the investigating team has done an in-depth look into the circumstances surrounding Bergdahl's disappearance from his post, has probably interviewed every witness with credible information, has looked at every piece of physical evidence and has reviewed hundreds of classified intelligence reports regarding his captivity. Its conclusions are long overdue.

Why We Consistently Oppose Obama and His Ilk

An anonymous post has been floating around email and Facebook in recent weeks and because it carries merit, we believe it calls for attention here on Blessings.Buzz. Often our detractors ask, "why do you hate Obama so much?" Trust me, it isn't hate that we feel toward him as a person necessarily.

It is contempt for his treasonous behavior and we are continually frustrated that the even further corrupted system won't stop him. This collection of his blatant actions should shine some light on the matter.

Here is the post:

"To President Obama: It was you who told an Islamic dinner – "I am one of you."

It was you who on ABC News referenced – "My Muslim faith."

It was you who gave $100 million in U.S. Taxpayer funds to re-build foreign mosques.

It was you who wrote that in the event of a conflict -"I will stand with the Muslims."

It was you who assured the Egyptian Foreign Minister that – "I am a Muslim."

It was you who bowed in submission before the Saudi King.

It was you who sat for 20 years in a Liberation Theology Church condemning Christianity and professing Marxism.

It was you who exempted Muslims from penalties under Obamacare that the rest of us have to pay.

It was you who purposefully omitted – "endowed by our Creator" – from your recitation of The Declaration Of Independence.

It was you who mocked the Bible and Jesus Christ's Sermon On The Mount while repeatedly referring to the 'HOLY' Quran.

It was you who traveled the Islamic world denigrating the United States of America.

It was you who instantly threw the support of your administration behind the building of the Ground Zero Victory mosque overlooking the hallowed crater of the World Trade Center.

It was you who refused to attend the National Prayer Breakfast, but hastened to host an Islamic prayer breakfast at the White House.

It was you who ordered both Georgetown Univ. And Notre Dame to shroud all vestiges of Jesus Christ BEFORE you would agree to go there to speak, but in contrast, you have NEVER requested that the mosques you have visited adjust their decor.

It was you who appointed anti-Christian fanatics to your Czar Corps.

It was you who appointed rabid Islamists to Homeland Security.

It was you who said that NASA's "foremost mission" was an outreach to Muslim communities.

It was you who as an Illinois Senator were the ONLY individual who would speak in favor of infanticide.

It was you who were the first President not to give a Christmas Greeting from the White House, and went so far as to hang photos of Chairman Mao on the WH tree.

It was you who curtailed the military tribunals of all Islamic terrorists.

It was you who refused to condemn the Ft. Hood killer as an Islamic terrorist.

It is you who has refused to speak-out concerning the horrific executions of women throughout the Muslim culture, but yet, have submitted Arizona to the UN for investigation of hypothetical human-rights abuses.

It was you who when queried in India refused to acknowledge the true extent of radical global Jihadists, and instead profusely praised Islam in a country that is 82% Hindu and the victim of numerous Islamic terrorists assaults.

It was you who funneled $900 Million in U.S. Taxpayer dollars to Hamas.

It was you who ordered the USPS to honor the MUSLIM holiday with a new commemorative stamp.

It was you who directed our UK Embassy to conduct outreach to help "empower" the British Muslim community.

It was you who embraced the fanatical Muslim Brotherhood in your quest to overthrow the Egyptian President, Hosni Mubarak.

It was you who funded mandatory Arabic language and culture studies in Grammar schools across our country.

It is you who follows the Muslim custom of not wearing any form of jewelry during Ramadan.

It is you who departs for Hawaii over the Christmas season so as to avoid past criticism for NOT participating in seasonal White House religious events.

It was you who was un-characteristically quick to join the chorus of the Muslim Brotherhood to depose Egypt's Hosni Mubarak, formerly America's strongest ally in North Africa; but, remain muted in your non-response to the Brotherhood led slaughter of Egyptian Christians.

It was you who appointed as your chief adviser, Valerie Jarrett, who is a member of the Muslim Sisterhood, an off-shoot of the Muslim Brotherhood."



What is left off this list are many issues that we contend are the result of his disdain for us: Benghazi, Fast & Furious, IRS scandals and more.

Of course the question lingers, "Is Obama a Muslim?" It matters little whether he is or not. What does matter greatly is that his acts are sedition against our country. Plain and simple.

Until Congress cares about our nation's future, and decides to honor their own oath to uphold our Constitution, I'm afraid we can expect more of the same from the traitor in the White House.

One of the deceiving factors is that as the Obama government fudges unemployment numbers to make it appear like the economy is improving. However, one economic statistic provides a truer picture of the health of employment (or unemployment) in America.

The labor force participation rate, the number of workers compared to the number of workers available for work, is a number that is harder for Obama's Soviet-style bureaucrats to bastardize, and that number is at its lowest rate since the late 1970′s, when another failing Democrat president was destroying American prosperity with moronic Marxist policies (Jimmy Carter).

Even though the labor force participation rate has declined in every single U.S. state under Obamanomics, there is one area of the nation where the number of workers has improved under Obama, and it's not a state, but the home of ever-growing leviathan, Washington, D.C.

There's nothing to worry about, however. The Obama Regime and the establishments from both political parties, as well as the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, all assure us that providing amnesty to millions of illegal aliens will somehow help the U.S. economy.

Someone Up There Was Looking Out For This Man

(I've driven Interstate 84,[ in the summer, not winter] and it was truck city all the way to Portland, Oregon.  Checkout the video of this massive wreck:

Maybe not a "Sunday Smile" exactly, but certainly very fortunate that everyone survived this horrible accident. A massive highway accident in eastern Oregon involving approximately 100 people and 26 cars, left 12 people injured Saturday. Heavy winds and fog, combined with icy road conditions on the stretch of Interstate 84, resulted in a dangerous mix for drivers causing three separate collisions, primarily with semi trucks.

And one 27-year-old man, Kaleb Whitby, has become the public face of the incident, thanks to one wild picture captured by truck driver Sergi Karplyuk, 32, on Twitter.

Whitby and what was left of his car were crushed in between two semis. He walked away with two band-aids on his hand, and a whole lot of gratitude. "Thank God that I'm still alive," Whitby said. "Now I've got to go figure out why."

Pigeons Birth Control Planned To Protect Ohio Courthouse

Love birds, beware: One Ohio county is planning to spike bird seed with birth control in hopes of keeping pigeons from despoiling the renovated exterior of its 19th Century courthouse.

The (Wooster) Daily Record reports Wayne County is spending millions to renovate a courthouse built in 1878 in downtown Wooster. But the county has long had a problem with pigeon droppings on metal statues and other ornamental elements atop the courthouse.

The wire mesh used to keep the birds away will be removed during the renovation.

The Saudi Arabia-based Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) is planning to sue the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo following its publication of a front cover depicting the Prophet Mohamed.

It comes as demonstrations against the controversial image on last week's "survivor" issue turned violent in Niger, Pakistan and Algeria, while the Iranian authorities banned a daily newspaper for a front-page headline allegedly offering Charlie Hebdo its support.

The OIC has member states across North Africa and the Middle East, among others, as well as permanent delegations to the UN and EU. Madani was nominated to be its secretary general by Saudi Arabia, and elected at the end of 2013.

Madani's comments came as the Iranian newspaper Mardom-e-Emrooz – or Today's People – was ordered to close after publishing a front page quoting George Clooney saying: "Je suis Charlie".

The newspaper pictured Clooney wearing a "Je suis Charlie" – or "I am Charlie [Hebdo]" – pin at the Golden Globes, but expressed neither support for the statement or the magazine in general from Mardom-e-Emrooz itself.

As Senate Democrats headed to Baltimore for their retreat, Minority Leader Harry Reid wasn't with them — but he will be listening in.

Even without a physical presence, the Nevada Democrat is still making the daily decisions about running the caucus — and an aide said late Wednesday he is likely to return to the Capitol next week.

His injuries from an exercising accident have forced him to remain a prisoner of sorts at his home in D.C.'s Ritz-Carlton, away from the Capitol where he has worked for more than 30 years as a member of Congress and before that, as a Capitol policeman while putting himself through law school.

Reid broke bones in his face and four ribs, and he suffered a concussion after he fell when the resistance band he was exercising with snapped on New Year's Day. He temporarily lost sight in one eye, though he's said doctors are optimistic he will recover.

While doctor's orders have precluded Reid from making the trip just more than 30 miles north to Baltimore, a senior Democratic aide said a line has been hooked up to allow him to connect to the meetings from home.

When bipartisan congressional leaders went to the White House Tuesday, Reid missed the less than 1-mile trip but had the only aide in the room representing Senate Democrats.

Reid received a full briefing from that aide, and had a conversation with other Democratic leaders in attendance. A senior Democratic aide said Reid also spoke with White House Chief of Staff Denis McDonough ahead of the meeting.

GREENVILLE, S.C. —Sen. Lindsey Graham said Sunday morning that he has set up a committee to test the waters on a possible run for president.

The South Carolina Republican appeared on NBC's "Meet the Press" and spoke to host Chuck Todd from Jerusalem.

Todd asked Graham about polling efforts.

"We're not polling but we set up a testing the waters committee under the IRS code that would allow me to look beyond South Carolina as to whether or not a guy like Lindsey Graham has a viable path," Graham said.Sen. Lindsey Graham appears on Meet the Press

Todd said Sen. John McCain, an Arizona Republican who ran for president twice, referred to Graham as his "illegitimate son" and was encouraging Graham to run.
