President Obama, first lady Michelle and their two daughters hit the halfway point of their 17-day vacation in Hawaii as they went to the beach, which Secret Service agents on Jet Skis guarded the waters to keep away the hoi polloi.

"Sorry, this beach has been reserved for the First Family," wrote the UK's Daily Mail. The paper reported that "The main task of the agents seemed to focus on stopping any other people in kayaks getting to close to the president, his wife and their two daughters.

"The officers could be seen telling different groups at the popular spot to turn around, as they sectioned off part of the water."

According to the pool report, written by a U.S. media reporter on site with the first family, "At 2:30 pool van was on the move leaving the Bellows AF station beach. But it was a false alarm. After following for less than two minutes the pool van learned we were following Flotus and the Obama daughters — but Potus had not yet departed. (The First Family had traveled together to the beach.) Pool van doubled back to clubhouse and waited for Potus motorcade to emerged from secluded area. At 2:45 pm the actual Potus motorcade emerged –with Secret Service shooing off the road a man walking along and holding a golf club–and we were on the move again to an undisclosed location."

The Obamas later went out to dinner at the exclusive Alan Wong's restaurant. The president did not attend the funerals of two New York Police Department officers murdered in the line of duty, instead sending his vice president.

ISIS Executed Nearly 2,000 People In Six Months

(I imagine the death count is much higher than that.  Since the holocaust there have been incidents of gross human rights violations some of which involved hundreds of thousands of people but none compare like this evil currently taking place since.  While the others were localized, this movement threatens mankind throughout the world.

Their mission has been stated and they are focused on that one goal, world domination.  They would return us to the seventh century along with all its attributes.  Unless we wake up, we will be part of this transformation probably playing the role of victims as opposed to victors.

The Islamic State militant group has killed 1,878 people in Syria during the past six months, the majority of them civilians, a British-based Syrian monitoring organization said on Sunday.

Islamic State also killed 120 of its own members, most of them foreign fighters trying to return home, in the last two months, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

The militant group has taken vast parts of Iraq and Syria and declared a caliphate in territory under its control in June. Since then it has fought the Syrian and Iraqi governments, other insurgents and Kurdish forces.

Rami Abdulrahman, the head of the Syrian monitoring group, told Reuters that Islamic State killed 1,175 civilians, including eight women and four children.[...]

Abdulrahman, who gathers information from all sides of the Syrian conflict, said that Islamic State had also executed 502 soldiers fighting for President Bashar al-Assad and 81 anti-Assad insurgents.

He said that 116 foreign fighters who had joined Islamic State but later wanted to return home, were executed in the Syrian provinces of Deir Al-Zor, Raqqa and Hassakeh since November. Four other Islamic State fighters were killed on other charges, Abdulrahman said.

Darrell Issa's leading role in the IRS investigation may have come to a close — he lost his chairmanship of the House Oversight Committee to term limits — but there is plenty of work left for his successor, Jason Chaffetz of Utah. None of these criminals has been punished; the maddening fact is that Lois Lerner is enjoying a six-figure pension at the expense of the very taxpayers against whom she conducted a corrupt political jihad. And even if that happy day should come when Lerner et al. are given one-way bus tickets to Florence, Colo., or some other suitable destination, Chaffetz and his colleagues still would have a tremendous amount of work to do; if Issa's time has taught us anything, it is that the federal agencies are in thrall to a culture of criminality, and that the most significant crime in the agencies' repertoire is the obstruction of federal investigations.

Earlier this year, 47 inspectors general — the officials charged with fighting corruption, waste, and wrongdoing in federal agencies — sent a letter to Issa's committee complaining that organizations ranging from the EPA to the Justice Department were impeding their investigations by withholding information — despite the fact that federal law specifically forbids withholding that information. These are not a bunch of Republican operatives trying to score a few political points: Those 47 inspectors general comprise more than half of all such officials, and many who signed the letter were appointed by President Barack Obama. Their complaint is that the federal agencies treat them more or less like they do . . . members of Congress: thwarting them, withholding documents, obstruction investigations.

Recent Parolee Charged In Shooting Of Off-Duty St. Louis Police Officer

A recent parolee has been charged in the shooting last weekend of an off-duty St. Louis police officer in the city's Hyde Park neighborhood.

Authorities said the officer was critically injured Dec. 19 in a gunfight with people in a car driven by the parolee, Dominic Lamont Irons, 29, of the 2800 block of Delmar Boulevard.

A court document says one of the others in the car was killed in the shootout. At least one other person was still being sought by police.

Irons was charged Saturday with assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon. The circuit attorney's office said he also was charged with second-degree murder in connection with the death of the accomplice.

According to a court document, Irons and the others in the car followed the officer's truck for the purpose of shooting him.

As the officer pulled to the curb in the 3800 block of North 25th Street and began to get out of his truck, Irons drove alongside and someone in the car shot at the officer.

How Al Crapton Got His Own TV Show

Al Sharpton is generally regarded as a piece of scum — a tax-dodging socialist and professional race baiter who has gotten numerous people killed in pogroms. (For those not familiar with his worst outrages against decency, Ben Shapiro provides a quick rundown.) Sharpton is not regarded by anyone as a gifted television anchor. Yet he has his own prime time show on MSNBC. The reason could have something to do with Comcast wanting to merge with NBC, which in the USSA requires the approval of bureaucrats. Fortunately for crony capitalists, these bureaucrats can be bribed.

To rally political support for the merger, Comcast's political-action committee handed out campaign cash, and [well-connected political fixer David] Cohen worked to head off the concerns over diversity [i.e., complaints that people were being promoted based on merit rather than for not being white]. Between 2008 and 2010, Comcast's corporate foundation donated more than $3 million to 39 minority groups that wrote letters to federal regulators in support of the NBC deal. Comcast and NBC Universal also worked out an agreement with advocacy groups guaranteeing increased "minority participation in news and public affairs programming"—so long as the deal went through. And in 2009 and 2010, Comcast gave $155,000 to an organization founded by the Reverend Al Sharpton, who ended up endorsing the merger.

In January, 2011, Washington approved the deal. And lo and behold, Al Sharpton — who had virtually no professional broadcast experience but did have a long history of legal entanglements and ethical quandaries — landed a prime-time show on MSNBC.

Not only would Reverend Al have the kind of "legitimate" pulpit from which he could pontificate with an assumed air of "credibility," he could also enjoy a reboot of sorts — a network-sanctioned passage out of the shadow of his past troubles.

And Obama's White House could have its loyal advocate and ally in place to carry forward the narrative five nights a week.

Now, no matter how deeply Sharpton inserts himself into and tries to influence raging racial controversies...no matter how much criticism is directed his way...no matter how many goofs and gaffes he racks up on his show, Sharpton seems to be a protected entity.

He can even help get police officers assassinated without damaging his career. On the contrary, his presence probably lends credibility to MSNBC in the addled minds of the moonbats who are now its exclusive audience. Everyone else has been driven away not only by the channel's demented hard left politics, but by the ever-deteriorating level of broadcast professionalism.

Just Revealed Gruber Docs
Will Send Democrats Running for Cover

Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber, who previously said that American voters were stupid and therefore must be duped into accepting Obamacare with lies, deception and trickery, has been caught in another revelation that will further embarrass the Obama Regime and by Democrats who wholeheartedly accepted the unpopular legislation, hook, line and sinker.

Not only did Obama and his legion of liars tell America that we could keep our doctors and keep our policies under Obamacare, but we were repeatedly told that costs would decline.

While those who suggested (i.e., Sarah Palin) that the still highly unpopular Democrat-passed legislation would use healthcare rationing as a strategy, they were laughed at and ridiculed.

However, a newly discovered research document from Gruber, shows that the plan from the beginning was to ration care, and that Gruber knew the Obamacare scheme would NOT make healthcare more affordable.

Uncovered by The Daily Caller, the Obamacare architect wrote in the 2009 policy brief, on page 10 under Affordability, "The problem is it starts to go hand in hand with the mandate; you can't mandate insurance that's not affordable. This is going to be a major issue."

Gruber goes on to admit that there were NO cost controls initially in Obamacare, that they would deceptively get people hooked on faux coverage, then pull the rug out from underneath them by rationing care:

     "So what's different this time? Why are we closer than we've ever been before? Because there are no cost controls in these proposals. Because this bill's about coverage. Which is good! Why should we hold 48 million uninsured people hostage to the fact that we don't yet know how to control costs in a politically acceptable way? Let's get the people covered and then let's do cost control."

At the same time, Obama was lying to Americans, telling us that annual premium costs would decline by an average of $2,500 per family, a number that was apparently pulled out of thin air.

Gruber then admits that, under Obamacare, the only way for the scheme to work will be by rationing care:
"There's no reason the American health care system can't be, 'You can have whatever you want, you just have to pay for it.' That's what we do in other walks of life. We don't say everyone has to have a large screen TV. If you want a large screen TV, you have to pay for it. Basically the notion would be to move to a level where everyone has a solid basic insurance level of coverage. Above that people pay their own, without tax-subsidized dollars, to buy a higher level of coverage."
