Humanist Group Claims Victory After Challenging
Dorchester, SC School's Food Drive For Church

(When was the last time a mosque held a food drive and was challenged by the "humanist group'?)

Via Charleston Post and Courier
http://www.postandcourier.com/article/20141218/PC16/141219445

The American Humanist Association, whose slogan is "good without God," sent a letter last month to Dorchester District 2 officials threatening legal action over Oakbrook Elementary School's support of students collecting food and raising money for Old Fort Baptist Church's food pantry.

The association announced Thursday that the district "has agreed not to sponsor or endorse churches and religious institutions in the future."

"We strongly support charitable giving, but the good intentions of fundraisers and food drives can be achieved in ways that do not favor any religion," David Niose, legal director of the Appignani Humanist Legal Center, said in an email Thursday.

Students were raising money and donating food before Thanksgiving for the church's pantry, a part of its Community Impact for Christ program. The efforts were publicized on the school's website and in fliers supporting "Old Fort Baptist Missions."

The humanist association said it received complaints from some parents, and the association threatened legal action if the school didn't drop the project in a Nov. 20 letter to District Superintendent Joe Pye and Oakbrook Principal Monica O'Dea.

"The purpose of this letter is to advise you that such school-sponsored fundraising efforts – the proceeds of which go directly to an evangelical Christian Church – must immediately cease, and that our organization will pursue the matter through litigation in federal court if it does not," Monica Miller, an attorney with the Appignani Humanist Legal Center in Washington, D.C., said in the letter.

Responding to the humanist association, the school district's attorney, John Reagle, wrote that the $100 the students raised through the sale of thank-you notes and the food they collected were given to high schools for distribution to needy students instead of being donated to the church's food pantry.

High Paid SEIU Organizer Arrested In Attack
On Police At Brooklyn Bridge Protest

(NYPD ain't messing around.  SEIU was a fundamental underpinning of the Occupy movement, and has been one of the ever present groups behind these most recent protests...)

Robert Murray, an SEIU organizing coordinator, has been charged for Saturday night's assault on police officers on the Brooklyn Bridge.
A protester who has been charged with assaulting a New York police officer was making six-figures working for one the country's largest unions, The Daily Beast has learned.

Robert Murray, 43, of Crown Heights, Brooklyn, surrendered to police at Manhattan's 5th Precinct Thursday morning.

According to a police spokesperson, Murray was charged with two felony counts of assaulting a police officer and three misdemeanors counts, one each of resisting arrest, inciting to riot, and obstruction of governmental administration. Murray has no prior arrests, the spokesman said. No date has been announced yet for Murray's arraignment, where he will enter his plea and have an opportunity to contest the charges.

Murray is male suspect #3. Female suspect #1 was arrested today. 5 others are still wanted:

Witch Hillary Behind The Deal With Castro

Alcoholic Hillary ready for a big night in Havana, Cuba

(Now you know where Billy has been getting his cigars.  Both the Russians and Chinese are building bases in Honduras and Guatemala in a Joint-Venture to dig a new Super-size canal across Honduras to handle the super duper container ships that the Panama Canal cannot.  China is footing the bill and digging the bigger ditch, while Russia is contracted to provide security for the operation.  The bases and new seaports are on both coasts.  China estimates there will be upwards of 90,000 workers onsite.  Everyone living in the path of the 15 - 50 mile wide construction zone of the big dig have been moved out.

All this coincides with the 'gift' of 150,000 "unexpected" illegals streaming into the US from those two countries. The displaced individuals are traveling north and our enemies are moving in...)

Via WFB:

Hillary Clinton was the main architect of the deal reached with Cuba and her advocacy toward opening a new relationship with the Castro regime began almost immediately when she became secretary of state, according to a report from Bloomberg's Josh Rogin.

From 2009 until her departure in early 2013, Clinton and her top aides took the lead on the sometimes public, often private interactions with the Cuban government. According to current and former White House and State Department officials and several Cuba policy experts who were involved in the discussions, Clinton was also the top advocate inside the government for ending travel and trade restrictions on Cuba and reversing 50 years of U.S. policy to isolate the Communist island nation. Repeatedly, she pressed the White House to move faster and faced opposition from cautious high-ranking White House officials.

[...]

Clinton's advocacy on behalf of opening a new relationship with Cuba began almost as soon as she came into office. Obama had campaigned on a promise to engage enemies, but the White House initially was slow to make good on that pledge, and on the Cuba front enacted only a modest relaxation of travel rules. From the start, Clinton pushed to hold Obama to his promise with regard to Cuba.

A Dictator's Best Friend

Column: Obama rescues tyrants from Havana to Damascus

BY: Matthew Continetti
December 19, 2014 5:00 am

"It's a sad day for freedom," Marco Rubio told Bret Baier after President Obama announced he would normalize relations with Cuba. Not a sad day, senator: a sad year.

If there was a theme to 2014, it was Obama's persistence in bailing out dictators and theocrats from political scrapes and economic hardships, his tenacity in pursuit of engagement with America's adversaries no matter the cost to our strength, principles, credibility, or alliances.

In this president the thugs in Havana and Caracas, Damascus and Tehran, Moscow and Naypyidaw and Beijing have no better friend. For these bullies, these evildoers, these millenarians and sectarians, Barack Obama is more than a dupe. He is an insurance policy.

Cuba is but the latest example of this president's failing to exercise leverage in the pursuit of American strength and security and prestige. Here are the Castro brothers, decrepit and spent, their revolution a joke, their economy in peril thanks to the collapse in oil prices brought on by a strong dollar and increased U.S. supply.

The China option—foreign direct investment from America—is Raul and Fidel's only play to sustain power over the society they have impoverished. And Obama says yes, yes to everything: an embassy, an ambassador, diplomatic relations, travel and exchange, status among nations, removal from the list of state sponsors of terror, and a serious opportunity to lessen the embargo that has kept the dictators caged for decades.

In return, the Castro brothers give up ... well, what? Alan Gross, a political prisoner and persecuted religious minority who shouldn't have been imprisoned in the first place? A second man who has been in captivity for decades? Thin gruel.

No promise of elections, no declaration of religious freedom, no demilitarization, no opening up of Cuban prisons to international inspection. Not even a pledge that salaries from U.S. companies operating in Cuba at indentured-servitude rates—the minimum wage is $19 a month—will be paid directly to employees rather than passed through the bloated, corrupt, suffocating state.

This isn't giving away the store. This is giving away the shopping mall, town center, enterprise zone. And it is entirely in character with President Obama's foreign policy.

In the late summer of 2013 Bashar Assad was caught using chemical weapons against his own people. The president and his secretary of state decried this violation of international norms and pledged, in televised addresses, to punish the Syrian tyrant for wanton slaughter and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. The application of deadly force against Assad's air force and military installations would cripple the regime and hasten the end of a civil war that has taken the lives of some 200,000 Syrians. But suddenly Obama reversed course. He signed on to a Russian proposal to prevent a military strike in exchange for Assad's "giving up" his barbaric tools.

Today Bashar Assad remains in power, his opposition is divided, he has entered into an alliance of convenience with the medieval Islamic State that governs from Raqaa to Mosul. The weapons? Earlier this month the U.S. government—Barack Obama's government—accused Syria of ongoing "systematic use" of chemical arms. I repeat: ongoing.

Not only has Obama failed to achieve his stated aims of removing Assad and ending the WMD threat. The situation is more dangerous than it was a year ago because the Islamic State's menagerie of Saddam loyalists and itinerant holy warriors is securing ground from which to launch attacks on targets throughout the world. Baathist dictators, chemical agents, refugees, Islamic armies are the consequence of this president's curious mixture of false promises and aggrieved passivity.

Barack Obama threw the Castros a lifeline, rescued Assad. But these monsters are not even the most dangerous of the despots he has enabled. An Iranian nuke would change the strategic equation of the Middle East and thus the world. Not only would Israel be threatened, so would America because of Iran's past use of terrorist proxies and increasingly sophisticated missile tech. And the threat would increase as Sunni and Turkic nations developed or bought WMD to deter the Persian hegemon.

By the end of last year the economic sanctions passed by Congress over the Obama administration's objections, as well as the shale energy revolution, had brought the Iranian economy to the brink of collapse. The moment had arrived to rally the West. Demonstrate a credible threat of force—perhaps by crippling Assad's air defenses—and force the Iranians into a defensive posture.

What did Obama do? He agreed to lift sanctions on Iran, infusing the theocratic economy with billions of dollars, in exchange for entering direct negotiations and a few paltry concessions. The centrifuges kept spinning, Iran cheated on the terms of this incredibly generous interim agreement, Iranian missile development, international terrorism, support for radical Islam, and human rights abuses went on.

Obama said U.S. advocates of sanctions were warmongers. His underlings called Israel's prime minister a chickenshit. And when the interim deal reached its expiration date, when Iran's undeterred commitment to achieving nuclear status was obvious to all, when the ayatollah was tweeting his plan to eliminate Israel from the earth, Obama extended the deal and economic relief just so he would not be exposed as a failure.

Not even Iran, however, has invaded its neighbors as unabashedly and aggressively as Vladimir Putin's Russia, which in less than eight years has annexed parts of Georgia and a critical region of Ukraine. Some 4,300 people have been killed since Putin's undeclared invasion of eastern Ukraine last spring, not counting the hundreds who died when a pro-Russian missile battery destroyed a civilian airliner.

Obama's response has been limited to sanctions on Putin and his inner circle. He has not provided the heavy arms necessary to roll back Russian advances in the east, nor has he launched a new Marshall Plan to sustain the economy of free Ukraine until Putin's illegal war comes to an end. Obama's idea of military aid is to send MREs.

This week Putin reached an impasse. Changes in the global economy—a strengthening America, plunging commodity prices, spooked foreign investors–have provoked the worst crisis in Russia since the late 1990s. The sanctions Obama has already agreed to will worsen the pain.

This is a point of maximum leverage. A public and generous commitment of financial and military aid to Ukraine, an assertion of U.S. military and ideological might, could expel the Russians from the east and inspire the democratic opposition in Moscow. What will Obama do?

Two words: Blow it. The president has agreed to sign a tough sanctions bill passed unanimously by Congress only because it contains loopholes that will allow him to shirk its harshest and most effective provisions. I do not hear him calling for increased hydraulic fracturing and horizontal drilling, including on federal lands, I have missed his pledge to restore America's military and rebuild a force to deter the bear, I am betting he won't expand natural gas exports, or increase the number of military advisers in Kiev, or expel Russia from the G8. Opportunity missed.

Like the Castros, Assad, and the mullahs, Putin is in danger, his grip tenuous, his options narrowing. Lucky for him, lucky for the other bad guys, Putin can count on the American president to bail him out. Forget about standing up for a U.S.-led international order: Obama won't even respond to North Korea's act of war against the United States, its cyber-attack on a U.S. film studio that succeeded in limiting free speech from thousands of miles away. And Obama says he's against bullying!

"Think where man's glory most begins and ends," wrote Yeats, "And say my glory was I had such friends."
Dictators don't have many friends. But they have Barack Obama.

Soooooooo Ridiculous: Bobble-Head Al CRAPton Now Going To Have Say Over How Sony Makes Movies

(**Warning** This article will make you headdesk...hard.  What he probably told Sony was that if he didn't have a say in making movies, it will be protest time)

Coming to a theater near you: Al CRAPton.

Hollywood came to the Rev. Al Thursday as embattled Sony exec Amy Pascal met privately with the black leader for 90 minutes in a bid to fix the fallout from the cyberhacking leak of embarrassing, racially charged emails.

Pascal agreed to let Sharpton have a say in how Sony makes motion pictures, in an effort to combat what he called "inflexible and immovable racial exclusion in Hollywood."

"We have agreed to having a working group deal with the racial bias and lack of diversity in Hollywood," said Sharpton.

He said Sony would work closely with his National Action Network, the National Urban League, the NAACP and the Black Women's Round Table to "see if we can come up with an immediate plan to deal with it."

The meeting, held behind closed doors at the Greenwich Hotel, also included National Urban League president Marc Morial.

BREAKING:
US Special Forces Engage ISIS for the First Time...
Here's How It Ended Up
Thursday, December 18th, 2014

The U.S. Special Forces aren't known for backing down from a fight. After months of being on the sidelines in the Middle East, the elite fighters just took on the largest group of radical Islamic terrorists in Iraq and Syria in ground combat.

It didn't end well ... for the enemy.

Reports indicate that the terrorist group, which calls itself the Islamic State, attacked an Iraqi Army outpost late Sunday night. It wasn't just Iraqis who were at that base, however. Over one hundred Americans were also at the location providing training and support to the foreign allies.

As the Islamic State forces hit the base, the Americans took action. They used light and medium infantry weapons to repel the attack, and were assisted by air support from F-18 Hornets.

The battle is the first time that U.S. Special Forces advisers have directly engaged the Islamic State. One translated Iraqi news report described the clash.

"U.S. troops have entered with its Iraqi partner, according to Colonel Salam Nazim, in line against ISIS elements and clashed with them for more than two hours, to succeed in removing them from al-Dolab area, and causing losses in their ranks.

"At a time American fighter jets directed several strikes focused on ISIS gatherings that silenced their heavy sources of fire. (Colonel Nazim) points out that the clashes took place between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m," continued the report (H/T: Controversial Times).

In blunt terms, the result was a rear end whipping. An American commander reported that ISIS suffered heavy casualties. At the same time, U.S. forces did not see a single loss.

Sheikh Mahmud Nimrawi, regional leader, stated "U.S. forces intervened because of ISIS started to come near the base, which they are stationed in. So out of self-defense, they responded, welcoming the U.S. intervention, which I hope will not be the last."

While the United States has been providing support against ISIS, much of the actual fighting has been done by local resistance groups.

This battle could be a turning point toward a more involved strategy of direct action against the Islamic terrorist group. At the very least, ISIS has learned a lesson: Be careful who pick a fight with.

GUNS

Barack Insane Obuma at a recent rural elementary school assembly in East Texas , asked the audience for total quiet.  Then, in the silence, he started to slowly clap his hands once every few seconds, holding the audience in total silence.

Then he said into the microphone, "Children, every time I clap my hands together, a child in America dies from gun violence."

Then, little Richard Earl, with a proud East Texas drawl, pierced the quiet and said: ''Well, dumb-ass, stop clapping!"

The Ungodly Amount of Money
the GOP Has
Given to Immigrants

Say it ain't so.

First Americans have had to deal with the open attacks on the border from the President and his pro-amnesty brethren.

And now Americans are taking it on the chin, courtesy of the GOP.

What have they done? They've voted to send nearly $1 billion dollars to help illegal immigrants move to the U.S.

As The Daily Caller notes:

The GOP's draft 2015 "omnibus" spending bill reportedly includes $948 million to help poor and unskilled Central American migrants establish themselves in the United States, but includes no effective restrictions on President Barack Obama's plan to provide work permits and tax payments to millions of resident illegal immigrants.

That new spending works out to $16,928 for each of the 56,000 youths, young adults and children who crossed the border during the 12 months up to October 2014.

This immigration issue has become one of the most problematic to beset Americans in the past few years.

It has caused Americans great stress to know their sovereign nation has been overrun with thugs, criminals, and free-loaders for decades. And the worst part is the Republican leadership should be doing something to reverse this harmful trend, and they're not.

Which is why the recent report where it was revealed Obama was providing employers with $3,000 bribes to hire illegals served as a vicious gut-check for Americans. These kinds of moves are further impeding the ability for struggling Americans to get back on their feet. And when the people they voted into office are doing nothing to defend them from these attacks, it's devastating.

Now, with the GOP leadership on King Obama's side in terms of immigration, it looks like the bottom has dropped out and the quality of American life is headed straight for the sewer.

One of the biggest problems here is the GOP leadership is not willing work with the GOP legislators who want to enforce the constitutional provisions of a secure border.

GOP leadership appears to be far too comfortable on their perches way up top.

As one Congressional aide said, "Leadership is basically giving in to every facet of Obama's amnesty. We're giving up an astonishing amount of leverage on every issue imaginable."

This is intolerable.

The burden this places on American tax payers is staggering. Especially considering how many immigrants continue to make it into the nation every single year.

It was estimated by the Heritage Foundation the new amnesty proposal will cost around $2 Trillion dollars over the next 5 decades. Or an average of $10 per month, per taxpayer until 2064.

You can only wonder why the GOP leadership isn't pressing in and trying to repeal this dreadful decision.

It's sad to say, frightening even, some of the leading Republicans just don't care about their constituents.

The reasoning behind their callousness in regards to some of these sensitive issues is unknown.
