"And I have to tell you, this is St. Louis's race war," she continued calmly, holding back tears. "We didn't have a race war like other cities throughout the country. This is our race war. And people have to be open, and they have to be honest. And they have to earnest. And they have not been earnest for decades. I know people in my own party, in my own government structure who disregard things that we say, and how we feel. And we are not going to allow it anymore."

Via Weekly Standard:
Attorney General Eric Holder released this statement after news came down that Darren Wilson would not be indicted for the murder of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri:

"While the grand jury proceeding in St. Louis County has concluded, the Justice Department's investigation into the shooting of Michael Brown remains ongoing. Though we have shared information with local prosecutors during the course of our investigation, the federal inquiry has been independent of the local one from the start, and remains so now. Even at this mature stage of the investigation, we have avoided prejudging any of the evidence. And although federal civil rights law imposes a high legal bar in these types of cases, we have resisted forming premature conclusions.

"Michael Brown's death was a tragedy. This incident has sparked a national conversation about the need to ensure confidence between law enforcement and the communities they protect and serve. While constructive efforts are underway in Ferguson and communities nationwide, far more must be done to create enduring trust. The Department will continue to work with law enforcement, civil rights, faith and community leaders across the country to foster effective relationships between law enforcement and the communities they serve and to improve fairness in the criminal justice system overall. In addition, the Department continues to investigate allegations of unconstitutional policing patterns or practices by the Ferguson Police Department.

Progressive Dos and Don'ts Learned at Ferguson

If you're a "Gentle Giant" planning to go shoplifting, don't go alone; do take with you a pathological liar as a sidekick to be a witness on your behalf if needed.

If you're a "Gentle Giant" don't pay for merchandise in a store before heading for the door; If the owner protests, and if the owner is not also a "Gentle Giant," do knock him out of the away like a rag doll and then leave.

If you're a "Gentle Giant" don't walk on the sidewalk, which is obviously unsuitable for a "Gentle Giant", so do walk in the middle of the street.

If you're a "Gentle Giant" walking down the middle of the street carrying your stolen merchandise and a police officer who is much smaller than you rolls-down his cruiser's window and asks you to walk on the sidewalk, don't obey such obviously racist request and do tell him to "F*** off."

If you're a "Gentle Giant" and the officer starts to open his cruiser's door to get out, don't let him get out; instead, do slam the door and force the smaller officer back into the cruiser.

If you're a "Gentle Giant" don't walk away from the cruiser but do reach into the cruiser and strike the smaller officer with your fists.

If you're a "Gentle Giant" don't recognize that one of the reasons police carry weapons is to enable an officer to protect himself from being beaten sensless by an attacker who is larger and more powerful; do try to gain control of the officer's weapon.

If you're a "Gentle Giant" don't recognize that your reaching for the officer's weapon will cause him to think you want to use it against him; do continue struggling to seize his weapon until the weapon discharges inside the cruiser.

If you're a "Gentle Giant" don't succumb to a realization that what you just did constituted a felony assault against the police officer; do attempt to leave the scene of the attack.

If you're a "Gentle Giant" don't obey the officer's command that you halt; do turn-around and charge at the officer with your "head down" like a "football player" seeking to "tackle" the officer.

If you're a "Gentle Giant" don't expect the officer to think you're seeking to tackle him to take his gun; do continue charging at him even after he's fired his gun at you.

If you're the "sidekick" of the "Gentle Giant," don't have the common sense to understand that forensic evidence of how the bullets entered the "Gentle Giant's" body would prove the "Gentle Giant" was charging the officer in a head/down "tackle" positon, but do tell police, the media and everyone else that the officer shot the "Gentle Giant" while the "Gentle Giant" was calmly and gently standing erect with his "hands up" while saying to the officer "hands up, don't shoot."

If you're a Progressive member of the media, don't dare doubt the description of the event by the "Gentle Giant's" sidekick, and do report this as simply a case of a racist white officer murdering an unarmed black teenager doing nothing other that looking forward to going to college.

If you're a Progressive, don't worry that Progressive leaders such as Al Crapton, AG Eric Honky and President Obuma will even consider the possibility that the "Gentle Giant" first attacked the officer without provocation or that the officer shot the "Gentle Giant" in self-defense; Do count on President Obuma to equate the "Gentle Giant" with the murdered civil-rights worker Emmet Till.

If you're a Progressive, don't worry that the Media might actually consider the scientific evidence; Do count on the media to continue carrying the propaganda water for the "Gentle Giant's" sidekick, Al Crapton, AG Eric Honky and President Obuma.

If you're a Progressive lawyer, don't give any credence to the scientific evidence of the path of the bullets into the "Gentle Giant's" body as evidence that the "Gentle Giant" was "charging" at the officer to "tackle" him; Do argue that if the prosecutor had wanted to present evidence to the grand jury in a "fair" manner, the prosecutor could have presented a hypothesis of guilt of the officer from a scientific expert who could have shown that when the "Gentle Giant" halted and raised his hands to say "Hands up, don't shoot," the officer could have had the "Ninja Skills" to jump fifteen feet into the air and (while at the apex of such jump) fire the fatal bullets into the "Gentle Giant" to create the false illusion that the "Gentle Giant" was "charging" the officer "head/down" in a "tackle" position at the time of the shooting.

If you're a Progressive lawyer, don't worry that the Progressive media would mock the "Ninja Officer" theory, and do count on President Obama to reinforce it by saying that the officer "acted Ninja-like."

Did They Want More Violence In Ferguson?
10 'Coincidences' Too Glaring To Ignore

By Michael Snyder, on November 25th, 2014

Was it a conspiracy or was it incompetence?  Those appear to be the only two alternatives that we are left with after the horrific violence that we witnessed in Ferguson on Monday night.  The first round of Ferguson rioting back in August took everyone by surprise, but this time authorities had more than three months to prepare.  They had the ability to control precisely when the grand jury decision would be announced and how many cops and National Guard troops would be deployed on the streets.  But despite all this, the violence in Ferguson on Monday night was even worse than we witnessed back in August.  Either this was a case of almost unbelievable incompetence, or there was someone out there that actually wanted this to happen.  If someone out there is actually trying to provoke more violence in Ferguson, then the rioters are being played like a fiddle.  Most of them have no idea that they could potentially just be pawns in a game that is far larger than they ever imagined.  The only other alternative to explain what we just saw is incompetence on a level that is absolutely laughable.  Something definitely does not smell right about all of this, and let us hope that at some point the American people get the truth.

The following are 10 "coincidences" from Monday night in Ferguson that are too glaring to ignore...

#1 Federal, state and local law enforcement authorities had more than three months to prepare for the violence that would follow the announcement of the grand jury decision.  The mainstream media endlessly hyped this controversy and everyone knew that trouble would be brewing.  But despite an enormous amount of time to prepare, very little was actually done to prevent any violence from happening.

#2 Someone made the decision to make the public announcement about the grand jury decision in the evening.  Anyone involved in law enforcement knows that crowd control is far more difficult after dark.  This also ensured that instead of being tied up with work or school, a maximum number of protesters would be able to be involved in the violence.

#3 Fortunately for the mainstream media, the announcement of the grand jury decision was perfectly timed to provide the largest possible number of prime time viewers for the big news networks.

#4 Just like back in August, no law enforcement authorities of any kind responded while dozens of businesses were vandalized, looted and set of fire.

#5 According to Ferguson Mayor James Knowles, National Guard troops were purposely held back from intervening in the rioting that was unleashed when the grand jury decision was made known to the public...
In a press conference, he called the delay "deeply concerning" and said the Guard troops were available but were not deployed when city officials asked.

The troops had been readied last week by Gov. Jay Nixon as the grand jury announcement neared. But as gunshots rang out in the night and looters torched buildings, they were nowhere to be seen.

#6 It is being reported that the heavily armed National Guard troops were limited to "keeping the peace at a courthouse, patrolling the outskirts of town and preventing disturbances in other suburbs" as horrific violence raged in the heart of Ferguson on Monday night.

#7 Missouri Lieutenant Governor Peter Kinder has accused Missouri Governor Jay Nixon of holding back the National Guard troops because of pressure from the Obama administration.  On Monday night, he angrily made the following statement to Fox News...
"Is the reason that the National Guard was not in there because the Obama Administration and the Holder Justice Department leaned on you to keep them out? I cannot imagine any other reason why the governor who mobilized the National Guard would not have them in there to stop this."

#8 The Washington Post has documented that Attorney General Eric Holder had been in direct contact with Governor Nixon and had expressed "frustration" with the fact that the National Guard had been activated...
A top aide to Holder called the governor's office earlier this week to express Holder's displeasure and "frustration," according to a Justice Department official.

"Instead of de-escalating the situation, the governor escalated it," said the official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak on the subject. "He sent the wrong message. The tone of the press conference was counterproductive."

#9 Firefighters in Ferguson did not immediately respond to calls to put out the multiple fires that were set by protesters.  As a result, many businesses essentially burned to the ground.  But this did make for some amazing television footage.

#10 In the worst of the "war zones", journalists with cameras and microphones were crawling all over the place while there were hardly any police to be seen at all.  How is it possible that law enforcement could have failed so badly?  Could it be possible that this was orchestrated on purpose?

Sadly, as I have written about previously, the civil unrest that we are witnessing in Ferguson is just a small preview of what is coming to America.

The anger and frustration that are seething under the surface in this country have reached a boiling point.  Instead of coming together, we are seemingly more divided than ever.  Americans have been trained to hate one another, fear one another and blame one another.  I fear that we are not too far away from actually becoming ungovernable.

And when the next major wave of the economic crisis strikes and we start experiencing real suffering in this nation, the temper tantrums that we are going to witness in our major cities are going to make what is happening in Ferguson right now look like a Sunday picnic.

So buckle up and hold on, because it is going to be a really bumpy ride from here on out.

Ferguson is not the end – it is just the beginning of a horrible new chapter in American history.

(As Obama said "...it makes good television..."  If you like your race war, you can keep your race war!  So get out the popcorn.  It's bread and circus for the masses)

21 Facts That Prove That Dependence On The Government
Is Out Of Control In America

By Michael Snyder, on November 18th, 2014

If you could stay home and watch television, play video games and hang out with your friends all day at government expense, would you do it?  Of course most Americans that collect money from the government each month are not abusing the system.  Many truly are incapable of taking care of themselves, and others are just receiving government benefits (such as Social Security) that they feel that they have earned by a lifetime of hard work.  But with each passing year the number of Americans jumping on board "the safety net" continues to grow rapidly, and a lot of these people should be able to take care of themselves.  Today, the American people collectively receive more money from the government than they pay in taxes.  And remember, the federal government uses our money to build roads, inspect our food and fund the military as well.  So what does this say about our economy?  Could it survive without all of these debt-fueled transfer payments?  And what does this say about our society?  At one time, our nation was known for our Protestant work ethic.  What would our forefathers say about us today?  The following are 21 facts that prove that dependence on the government is out of control in America...

1. According to a Congressional Budget Office study that was just released, approximately 60 percent of all U.S. households get more in transfer payments from the government than they pay in taxes.  Here is more about this stunning report from Mark J. Perry's Carpe Diem blog...

Some additional analysis and commentary will be provided here that reveal a yet-to-be discussed major implication of the CBO report – almost the entire burden: a) of all transfer payments made to American households and b) of all non-financed government spending, falls on just one group of Americans – the top one-fifth of US households by income. That's correct, the CBO study shows that the bottom three income quintiles representing 60% of US households are "net recipients" (they receive more in transfer payments than they pay in federal taxes), the second-highest income quintile pays just slightly more in federal taxes ($14,800) than it receives in government transfer payments ($14,100), while the top 20% of American "net payer" households finance 100% of the transfer payments to the bottom 60%, as well as almost 100% of the tax revenue collected to run the federal government. Here are the details of that analysis.

The figures in Row 6 in the table above (and displayed in the graph above) show the amount of federal taxes paid by the average household in each income quintile minus the average amount of government transfers received by those households in 2011. For each of the three lower income quintiles, their average government transfer payments exceeded their federal taxes paid by $8,600, $12,500, and $9,100 respectively, and therefore the entire bottom 60% of US households are "net recipients" of government transfer payments.

2. About 70 percent of all government spending now goes toward dependence-creating programs.

3. From 2009 through 2013, the U.S. government spent a whopping 3.7 trillion dollars on welfare programs.

4. The percentage of the U.S. population that gets money from the federal government grew by an astounding 62 percent between 1988 and 2011.

5. According to an analysis of U.S. government numbers conducted by Terrence P. Jeffrey, there are 86 million full-time private sector workers in the United States paying taxes to support the government, and nearly 148 million Americans that are receiving benefits from the government each month.

6. According to the Survey of Income and Program Participation conducted by the U.S. Census, well over 100 million Americans are enrolled in at least one welfare program run by the federal government.  Sadly, that figure does not even include Social Security or Medicare.

7. Currently, there are somewhere around 40 million senior citizens in the United States.  By 2050, that number is projected to skyrocket to 89 million.  Supporting all of those senior citizens is going to be extraordinarily expensive.

8. Right now, more than 64 million Americans are receiving Social Security benefits.

9. Right now, more than 54 million Americans are enrolled in Medicare.

10. Right now, more than 70 million Americans are enrolled in Medicaid.

11. The number of Americans enrolled in the Social Security disability program now exceeds the entire population of the state of Virginia.

12. If the number of Americans on Social Security disability were gathered into a separate state, it would be the 8th largest state in the entire country.

13. In 1968, there were 51 full-time workers for every American on disability.  Today, there are just 13 full-time workers for every American on disability.

14. At this point, the federal government runs about 80 different "means-tested welfare programs", and almost all of those programs have experienced substantial growth in recent years.

15. The number of Americans on food stamps has grown from 17 million in the year 2000 to more than 46 million today.

16. Ten years ago, the number of women in the U.S. that had jobs outnumbered the number of women in the U.S. on food stamps by more than a 2 to 1 margin.  But now the number of women in the U.S. on food stamps actually exceeds the number of women that have jobs.

17. Back in the 1970s, about one out of every 50 Americans was on food stamps.  Today, about one out of every 6.5 Americans is on food stamps.

18. Today, the number of Americans on food stamps exceeds the entire population of the nation of Spain.

19. According to one calculation, the number of Americans on food stamps now exceeds the combined populations of "Alaska, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, West Virginia, and Wyoming."

20. According to a report from the Center for Immigration Studies, 43 percent of all immigrants that have been in the United States for at least 20 years are still on welfare.

21. Most Americans are not earning enough to support themselves and their families without government help anymore.  The following are some statistics about wages in the U.S. from a Social Security Administration report that was recently released...

-39 percent of American workers made less than $20,000 last year.

-52 percent of American workers made less than $30,000 last year.

-63 percent of American workers made less than $40,000 last year.

-72 percent of American workers made less than $50,000 last year.

In order to have a middle class, you have got to have middle class jobs, and those are disappearing from our system very rapidly.

As a result, the number of people that are financially independent continues to drop.

So what will the future look like?

Will the government eventually have to take care of almost all of us?

New Black Panthers Plotted To Bomb Gateway Arch, Assassinate St. Louis Prosecutor, Ferguson Police Chief... Foiled By EBT Card

(My favorite part of this story: They wanted to buy two more bombs but couldn't afford it until one of their girlfriend's got her welfare payment... LOL)

Via Stl. Today:
http://m.stltoday.com/news/local/crime-and-courts/alleged-plot-included-bombing-gateway-arch-killing-prosecutor/article_69ddd938-e763-55c1-9c1c-3306725f941e.html?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter&mobile_touch=true

Two men indicted last week on federal weapons charges allegedly had plans to bomb the Gateway Arch — and to kill St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Robert McCulloch and Ferguson Police Chief Tom Jackson — the Post-Dispatch has learned.

Sources close to the investigation were uncertain whether the men had the capability to carry out the plans, although the two allegedly did buy what they thought was a pipe bomb in an undercover law enforcement sting.

The men wanted to acquire two more bombs, the sources said, but could not afford to do it until one suspect's girlfriend's Electronic Benefit Transfer [EBT]card was replenished.

  [...]

One of the defendants' plans, the sources said, included planting a bomb inside the observation deck at the top of the Arch. It was not clear how they could have gotten a bomb past airport-style security screening for rides up.

It also wasn't clear, the sources said, whether the men intended to use bombs as the means to kill McCulloch and Jackson. Both officials became targets of national criticism and protests after Brown's killing.

Local and federal authorities have served search warrants at two buildings, one in the 2500 block of Hampton Avenue in St. Louis and the other in the 1500 block of Reale Avenue in north St. Louis County, but the associated documents were sealed.

UPDATE to this story

(Let the games begin!)

Via The Blaze:
Two men were arrested by the FBI in a sting operation for allegedly attempting to purchase explosives to be used in Ferguson protests, CBS News reported Friday night.

According to CBS News, the men were arrested Thursday for attempting to purchase the materials for pipe bombs.

The individuals were arraigned Friday and are allegedly members of the New Black Panthers, according to CBS News.

Update:

Via RT:

Meanwhile, St. Louis Today reports the men have been indicted on weapons charges for allegedly making purchases of two handguns at the Cabela's sporting goods store in Hazelwood. The publication names Brandon Orlando Baldwin and Olajuwon Davis to be the two detainees.

According to the indictment, between November 1 and 13 the men acquired two Hi-Point .45 ACP pistols but the weapons were intended to be handed over to someone else.

A police source also said the investigation leading to the arrest spanned several months. Local and federal authorities executed search warrants at two residences in north St. Louis County. The source told St. Louis Today that the raids produced information that the detained had planned to obtain illegal weapons to do harm to law enforcement and the public.

After the arrest, one of the leaders of the New Black Panther Party, Chawn Kweli, posted a message on his blog blaming the operation on Counter Intelligence Program (COINTELPRO).

"The wicked enemies of black people use lies and deceit to confuse the masses and misdirect the legitimate aspirations of the black power movement," Kweli wrote. "As seen, in St. Louis, Mo, with the arrest of Chairman Olajawon Ali, and other activist ahead of the decision on whether to indict Officer Darren Wilson for killing Mike Brown – or not!"

Just a note, they have both been identified on the New Black Panther site as Brandon Baldwin Muhammad and Olajuwon Davis Ali, indicating they are both Muslims.

Update:

Here's a picture of Brandon Muhammad and his Facebook with more, including urging people to join the New Black Panthers because of the injustice to black men.

Holder Promises Liberal Activists He's Going To Aggressively Investigate Ferguson Police After Grand Jury Decision

(Racist AG Holder is never one to pass up a chance to stoke racial tensions)

WASHINGTON, Nov 26 (Reuters) – U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder told civil rights activists the Justice Department would aggressively investigate police practices in Ferguson, Missouri, after a grand jury declined to indict a white officer who shot dead an unarmed black teenager, two of the activists said on Wednesday.

In a phone call late on Monday, Holder, the country's top law enforcer, said the Justice Department was "moving strongly" in its investigation of police patterns and practices, said Barbara Arnwine, executive director of the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, who was on the call.

Laura Murphy, director of the American Civil Liberties Union's Washington legislative office, who was also on the call, said Holder is "very conscious of it needing to move quickly."

A Justice Department spokesman on Wednesday confirmed a call took place.
