The former Presidents ought to be on their own, however in the USA too many people want the government to take care of everybody even down to your locals at the government school level.

Socialism rules in America as you can see by some of their posts right here on this forum.  The Republicans and Obama are a tyrants and one or the other is well liked.  Shouldn't happen in America but for now it's looking like we're stuck with one or the other. 

Meanwhile, we can fill our vehicles with ethanol and drive to the wind farm and watch 'em spin.

From redistribution of global and local wealth, absolute control of behavior, removal of property and water rights, devastation of Capitalism, soaring energy prices, free speech and religious freedom condemned, open borders to government dependency.  From my furthest government to my closest government, America is under attack from other Americans with global in your face agendas.  How many local politicians have actually read what Agenda 21 entails?  "Going green" is a fuzzy warm manipulative tool that has failed implementation world-wide.

As an Army Veteran who was working as a contractor attached to the 25th Infantry Division (same Division as Bergdahl) in a nearby FOB when Bowe Bergdahl went missing, I feel the need to speak out on the situation (notice I don't ascribe rank to him, I will address that later).
A few days ago, Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel took the stage at Bagram Air Field in Afghanistan and excitedly started with what he thought would be a big applause line. "We got him back!" he exclaimed.

Silence.

Not. Even. One. Clap.
Numerous White House leaks show that Obama and his team were convinced that Americans would greet the news of a returning POW with elation; that this would be the great moment in Obama's second term. This shows just how clueless they are about the military. Let me clue them in.

You see, when Hagel took the stage, he expected joy at the announcement that one of their own was returned! However, you have to see inside a soldier's mind to understand what was going on here. I believe I can provide a little insight.

When a soldier deserts his post, when he writes that he is ashamed to be an American, when he gives the enemy secrets (and he did), he is no longer "one of us". He is a traitor. He is not a brother-in-arms.
Soldiers risk their lives for each other every day on the battlefield, there is a trust and respect they have for each other. For Bowe Bergdahl to break that trust and the Secretary of Defense to announce a hero's welcome instead of a court-martial is a huge let-down.

He isn't one of their own. He is one of them. He is the enemy.

That's not something to celebrate.

The message the White House is sending is that they value treason more than honorable service.

Read that last sentence again. Let it sink in. THIS is what every soldier is thinking.

In a soldier's mind serving with honor means finishing your tour, even if you disagree with the way things are done. All bets are off if you serve with dishonor.

I do not refer to Bergdahl as a sergeant, even though he received "automatic" promotions while in the Taliban's custody because according to law, after 30 days his rank and pay should have been stripped from him. Due to political pressure, his was not. In fact, he probably has over $200,000 in cash waiting in his bank account. In my opinion, this money should be given to the families of the soldiers who died in the aftermath of his desertion.

Bowe Bergdahl deserted his post. He served with dishonor. I know that firsthand. Our soldiers know that. They know they risk their lives every day. They don't get a hero's welcome from the White House, they get fewer meals (due to budget constraints) and less safety equipment (due to the drawdown).

Let me be perfectly clear. A Rose Garden Ceremony, a "hero's welcome", and automatic promotions to a person that deserted is nothing more than a slap in the face to every service member who has served honorably.

That, Mr. President and Mr. Hagel, is why soldiers aren't clapping and applauding for you. That is why you have lost any remaining respect from the military community.

WHAT AN HONOR TO BE PROUD OF

....I have the distinguished honor of being on the Committee to raise $50,000,000 for a monument to Hillary R. Clinton. We originally wanted to put her on Mt. Rushmore until we discovered there was not enough room for two more faces.


We then decided to erect a statue of Hillary in the Washington, D.C. Hall of Fame. We were in a quandary as to where the statue should be placed. It was not proper to place it beside the statue of George Washington, who never told a lie, or beside her husband William J. Clinton, who never told the truth, since Hillary could never tell the difference.


We finally decided to place it beside Christopher Columbus, the greatest Democrat of them all. He left not knowing where he was going and when he got there he did not know where he was... He returned not knowing where he had been and he did it all on someone else's  money.

The fundraiser capped off a day Obama spent with Rebekah Erler, a working mother who wrote the president to detail her financial struggle.

"It moved me," Obama said of the letter, adding that he only went into politics to help people like her.

Obama said he remembered what it felt like to be struggling to figure out "how you lead a good life and raise your kids, not looking to get wildly wealthy... trying to make ends meet."

There May Be Enough Invalidated Votes to Overturn Cochran Victory

The Chris McDaniel campaign has identified multiple Mississippi counties in which enough improper ballots have been cast that a legal challenge to the outcome of the election is warranted.

This after Thad Cochran reportedly relied on 25,000-35,000 Democrat votes to pull him to victory in the June 24 runoff.

UPDATE: The Cochran campaign is reportedly asking county clerks not to certify the voting rolls until the last day possible so that the McDaniel people will not be able to look at the rolls and challenge them.

The Mississippi Tea Party President says at least 800 Hinds County Voters crossed over illegally.
MS News Now reported:

The Mississippi Tea Party President says they've found evidence that nearly 800 voters crossed over in Tuesday's runoff election that should not have been allowed to vote Republican.

However, Hinds County GOP Chairman Pete Perry says there are some precincts where he knows workers marked the wrong column and that could account for at least 200 of those being cited by the Tea Party.

Members of McDaniel's campaign staff and some supporters began sorting through voter books on Thursday morning at the Hinds County courthouse.

They were looking for any "irregularities".

In Hinds County, poll workers used the Democratic primary books for the GOP runoff in an attempt to prevent crossover voters.

However, the group from McDaniel's camp is still searching those records to try to find anyone who voted as a Democrat on June 3rd and with the GOP on the 24th (the runoff.)
