Israelis Don't Trust Obuma on Iran

(I don't either)

A new poll shows that the majority of Israeli Jews do not trust President Barack Obama to successfully handle Iran's nuclear program.

Based off of the president's recent handling of Syria, 65.3 percent said they did not believe President Obama would properly address Iran's nuclear program. Only 17 percent of those polled by Israel Hayom said President Obama managed the Syrian crisis successfully.

Israel Hayom reports:
http://freebeacon.com/israelis-dont-trust-obama-on-iran/

A plurality of Israeli Jews — 49.7% — said Obama's decision to delay a military strike against Syria was wrong, while 32.8% said he made the right choice.

Poll respondents were asked who won the current round of events in Syria — Obama, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Syrian President Bashar Assad or Israel. Putin came in first at 48.3%, followed by Assad (39.6%), Obama (8.8%) and Israel (5.1%). Some 18.3% responded "don't know."
On the question of who lost the round, 63.0% said Obama, followed by Israel (17.3%), Assad (8.7%) and Putin (3.3%). Some 20.6% responded "don't know."

Gallup:
Number of Americans Who Trust Government To Fix
Country's Problems At All-Time Low

(Well gee... Obuma did promise CHANGE)

Via Gallup:
http://www.gallup.com/poll/164393/fewer-americans-ever-trust-gov-handle-problems.aspx

Americans' trust and confidence in the federal government's ability to handle international problems has reached an all-time low, with 49% saying they have a great deal or a fair amount of confidence, two percentage points below the previous low of 51% recorded in 2007.

These new data come from Gallup's annual Governance survey, conducted Sept. 5-8, 2013, while Congress was debating the use of military force in Syria, but prior to President Barack Obama's nationally televised address on Syria, and Russia's proposal to avert U.S. military action.

Between 57% and 66% of Americans said they had a great deal or a fair amount of confidence in the U.S. government to handle international problems during Obama's first term. This represents a generally higher level of confidence than Americans expressed during the latter years of the Bush administration, when the U.S. was engaged in protracted wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The historical high point on this measure (83%) came in October 2001, shortly after the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Americans also expressed high levels of confidence in the government on international matters in 1972 and 1974, when the question was first asked, even as the controversial Vietnam War was drawing to a close.

Chicago Ends Gun Registration Requirement

(Tough week for the gun control crowd...
Everyone say, "Awwwww...")

Via Daily Caller:

Gun owners in Chicago no longer have to register firearms with local authorities, the New York Times reports.

Chicago's City Council reluctantly voted Wednesday to end the decades old registration policy in the wake of the new law allowing Illinois residents the right to carry concealed weapons in public. The modification follows the United States Court of Appeals for the 7th District December ruling that stated Illinois's ban on public concealed carry was unconstitutional. So far, the Democratic-majority Legislature has struggled to balance the perceived needs of the people with the court ruling.

"This is an ongoing battle and struggle to make sure our laws reflect the safety our residents need," Democratic Mayor Rahm Emanuel said in a news conference Wednesday.

With 295 recorded homicides in Chicago so far this year, many police officers rely on the registry's information to understand the movements of guns throughout the city

Number of Stupid Journalists Who Have Moved To The Obuma Adm: No. #15

(No... no... no... liberal media bias is a myth... isn't it?)

Via Atlantic Wire:
http://m.theatlanticwire.com/politics/2013/09/rick-stengel-least-21-journalist-go-work-obama-administration/69362/

Time managing editor Rick Stengel (pictured above) is leaving journalism to go work for the State Department, making him at least the 15th reporter to go to work for the Obama administration. Stengel will be the Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs, Politico and Capital New Yorkreport. The last high-profile journalist to leave Time for the Obama administration is Jay Carney, who is currently White House press secretary (pictured at right).

A wave of reporters went to work for President Obama early in the administration, a time when many media organizations were going through layoffs and Obama's approval rating was sky-high. The flow has tapered off since then. The Washington Post's Ed O'Keefe has semi-regularly kept tabs on the number of reporters working for Obama administration, counting 10 in May 2009, 14 in 2010, and 13 in 2011. The Washington Examiner's Paul Beddard counted 19 reporters working for "Team Obama" in February 2012, but he included liberal advocacy groups as part of the "team."

NBC/WSJ Poll:
Americans Now Prefer GOP Over Dems On Economy, Foreign Policy, Deficit

(Gee... I wonder if Barry is listening?!)
Via Politico:

Republicans are now leading Democrats on handling several key issues, according to a new Wall Street Journal/NBC poll.

The poll, released Friday, shows more Americans think that the Republicans are doing a better job on the economy, foreign policy and reducing the federal deficit.

The GOP has an edge of 7 percentage points over the Democrats on the issue of foreign policy. This is up from 2006, when the GOP was behind by 9 percentage points.

And while Democrats still lead among issues such as health care and looking out for the middle class, their lead has been steadily decreasing. The Wall Street Journal highlights that the Democrats only hold a 17 percentage point lead over the GOP in looking out for the middle class, the lowest margin in decades. The Democrats also see the lowest margin ever on dealing with health care, at 8 percentage points.

WSJ Report:
Elite Syrian Unit Scatters Chemical Weapons Stockpile To As Many
As 50 Sites To Avoid U.S. Detection

(Is Obuma, who loves to lead behind, gullible enough to think Assad will turn over all
his chemical weapons?  Yup, I think he might be)

Via WSJ:
http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424127887324755104579071330713553794.html

A secretive Syrian military unit at the center of the Assad regime's chemical weapons program has been moving stocks of poison gases and munitions to as many as 50 sites to make them harder for the U.S. to track, according to American and Middle Eastern officials.

The movements of chemical weapons by Syria's elite Unit 450 could complicate any U.S. bombing campaign in Syria over its alleged chemical attacks, officials said. It also raises questions about implementation of a Russian proposal that calls for the regime to surrender control of its stockpile, they said.

U.S. and Israeli intelligence agencies still believe they know where most of the Syrian regime's chemical weapons are located, but with less confidence than six months ago, U.S. officials said.

Secretary of State John Kerry met Thursday in Geneva with his Russian counterpart to discuss a road map for ending the weapons program. The challenges are immense, Mr. Kerry said.

MSNBC Host Dummy Krystal Ball Apparently 'Horrified' From Violent Scene From Movie Airplane: It Looked Real

(sigh...)

Via Mediaite:

On Friday's The Cycle, the hosts of MSNBC reported on a series of delays that kept Jet Blue customers grounded on a variety of tarmacs for up to 90 minutes. The inconvenience for travelers was reported lightheartedly and the MSNBC hosts colored the segment with a famous scene from the movie Airplane. Host Krystal Ball appeared visibly disturbed by the mock violence depicted in that sequence.

"Krystal's a little horrified by that," Touré said after playing the famous sequence from the famous 1980 comedy.

"I am sort of horrified by that," she agreed.

"No actual women were harmed in that," Touré explained. "It's stage hitting. No actual women were hurt in that clip."

"It looked pretty real," she added.

What Happened To John Kerry's Face?

Kerry in January during his confirmation hearing:

Here he is earlier this week (note the droopy right eye):

(Two stories on this:
1) I have it from a high ranking source as to what caused the droopy right eye. Lurch was removing the cork from Terreeeezzzzaaa's third bottle of Vino for the evening and the cork flew up and hit him in the eye.  He was originally going to say it was caused by an "Old war wound suffered in Vietnam," but decided he better tell the (cork) truth instead.

2)I read about what really caused the black eyes and bruised nose... from OUTDOOR LIFE magazine:  Lurch was windsurfing and a flying fish hit him in the face.  Eric Holder and the Justice Department investigated and have documented evidence... e-mails, cell phone conversations, etc. that the fish worked for Dick Cheney.

One thing is clear, he needs to chill out with the Botox)
