Little Rock school district will now make teachers wear underwear

(Hmmmm... Such rules always stem from a trigger event, so I'm curious as to who was flouting the lack of underwear)

The school district in Little Rock, Ark. has announced plans for a dress code that will require teachers to wear underwear. Every single day. Female teachers will have to wear bras, too.

An Aug. 29 letter from the Little Rock School District's Office of the Superintendent to all employees explains that the dress code will officially go into effect in the fall of 2014.

"Foundational garments shall be worn and not visible with respect to color, style, and/or fabric," the letter reads. "No see-through or sheer clothing shall be allowed, and no skin shall be visible between pants/trousers, skirts, and shirts/blouses at any time."

Obuma, the First Lord of the Admiralty
By Geoffrey P. Hunt
September 8, 2013

Gilbert & Sullivan's HMS Pinafore relentlessly ridicules the First Lord of the Admiralty. Their comic opera foretells our modern-day hero -- Barack Obama, the feckless bumbling Commander-In-Chief. Both pretenders arrived at their stations under identical circumstances:
[I am the monarch of the sea...
The ruler of the Queen's Navee,...

When at anchor here I ride,
My bosom swells with pride,
And I snap my fingers at a foeman's taunts;

But when the breezes blow,
I generally go below... Of legal knowledge I acquired such a grip
That they took me into the partnership.
And that junior partnership, I ween,
Was the only ship that I ever had seen.
But that kind of ship so suited me,
That now I am the Ruler of the Queen's Navee!

Our entertainment tonight is the comic Commander who doesn't know a deep-water port from a riverbank, the Atlantic seaboard from the Gulf of Mexico, has never encountered a U.S. Navy corpsman, instead refers to one as a "corpseman", can't distinguish the living from the dead on Memorial Day, thinks a handshake is as good as a salute, uses a U.S. Marine as a personal valet in a rain shower, and who believes Hawaii is in Asia.

Obama casually dismisses the commander-in-chief duties under the Constitution, instead playing cards with his valets, and arranging daily golf outings surrounded by sycophants and Secret Service ball washers. Such an adolescent interpretation of the most powerful job on the planet is only interrupted by sybaritic campaign tours, as he yearns for adoration reserved for popes and men who walk on the moon.

Advocates for more limited government would normally cheer at the prospects of a part-time president, reluctant to enjoin in uncertain foreign ventures. A part-time president in the mold of Calvin Coolidge or even Dwight Eisenhower. And what's wrong with a president clearing brush at his ranch in California? Better than meddling in a civil war, choosing sides between a proxy state for Iran and Al Qaeda aligned insurgents.

Here we have president Obama, plunging us into a half-baked military adventure with incalculable risks, opposed by 70% of Americans. A war unwanted by the Pentagon, only provoked by Obama's team of amateur humanitarian ambassadors -- the likes of Susan Rice, Samantha Powers, and atrocities expert John Kerry -- whose selective outrage at the use of chemical weapons by unknowns in Syria marks the extent of Obama's event-driven foreign policy devoid of any meaningful enduring strategy. Meanwhile these same moralists-in-chief have been mute as Coptic Christians have been massacred and their churches firebombed by the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt.

Here we have President Obama AWOL while the Benghazi consulate was bombed by terrorists. He then lied about its origin, and then consented to his administration's stonewalling of the Congressional investigation. He now expects us to grant him sweeping authority to launch strikes against Damascus, whose consequences -- most likely to be catastrophic for the region and unaffordable to us -- will lead to unpredictable retaliation from Assad, assisted by his patrons Iran and Russia, that we cannot control.

Why should anyone support a part-time president who will trigger a full-time war? Even John Boehner & Co, along with erstwhile level-headed editors at the Wall Street Journal have succumbed to the bankrupt notion that the nation's credibility and the integrity of the office require endorsing Obama's reckless incontinence.

Republican hawks cling to the notion that the office of the president is separable from its incumbent. One honors the office, despite loathing its current occupant. Yet ceremonial respect, transcending incompetence, and self-indulgent trifling should never give way to blindly relegating the practical responsibility of taking a nation to war; to be run by a president who disdains the job of commander-in-chief and has displayed zero aptitude for its execution.

WS Gilbert, Arthur Sullivan's librettist, had fun mocking the British Navy during the latter days of Queen Victoria when the competence of Rule Britania was never in doubt. The pinafore of course is a woman or girl's sleeveless apron, a convenient towel to wipe one's hands of flour and sugar, but only a thin veil against splattering harsh chemicals and effusions of blood from eviscerated victims.

Be wary of Obama's enablers gleefully piped aboard his USS Pinafore, thinking a theater prop is a fighting ship of the line that can restore America's rightful place as the most powerful moral arbiter on the globe.

Leftist Anti-War Protesters Picket White House...
Obama Goes Golfing

(As you can see from their signs, they're from the Stalinist ANSWER Coalition.
Note: Golf Round number 143)

WASHINGTON (AP) — Dozens of people opposed to President Barack Obama's call for a U.S. military strike against Syria are picketing outside the White House.

Chanting "They say more war; we say no war," speakers say Saturday's picket line marks a line Congress should not cross as it prepares to vote on the issue.

Obama left the White House during the protest, traveling by car to Andrews Air Force Base to play golf with three aides.

As I approach my twilight years, I am struck by the inevitability that the party must end.  And one clear, cold morning after I'm gone, my spouse will awaken in the warmth of our bedroom and be struck with the pain of learning that sometimes there isn't "anymore."

No more hugs, no more special moments to celebrate together, no more phone calls just to chat, no more "just one minute".

So while we have it, its best we love it, care for it,  fix it when it's broken and heal it when it's sick.

This is true for marriage... and old cars, and children with bad report cards, and dogs with bad hips, and aging parents and grandparents.  We keep them because they are worth it, because we are worth it.

Life is important, like people we know who are special.  And so... we keep them close!

Suppose one morning you never wake up.  Do all your friends know how you really feel?  The important thing is to let every one of your friends know your true feelings, even if you think they don't love you back.

So, just in case I'm gone tomorrow, please rest assured...  I voted against that idiot Obuma both times!

Lurch: Nations That Back Syria Strike in 'Double Digits'

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424127887323623304579060692417802108.html

(I call it major BS)

Secretary of State John Kerry said on Saturday that the number of countries now ready to take military action against Syrian President Bashar Assad had reached "double digits."

It's far more than BS in my opinion, far more than lip service. It is exactly what I have been saying about our so called local leadership and elite they all expect us to believe their blatant lies and that is what they are, lies with out documentation. The same goes for accomplishing a work a round's to disobey the voters, and to ignore the constitution and the voters which is extremely unpatriotic whether on the national level or the local level. How dare these liars and cheats say the Pledge of Allegiance, how dare they call themselves patriots. How dare they call themselves honest people. SCUM is what comes to my mind. They lack true leadership skills if they have to lie and cheat. Just my opinion.

Impeachment and recalls should be running rampant in this country.

Obuma To Violate Federal Law [again]By Slashing Military Pay Raise,
Will Negatively Impact Combat Troops

(Here comes the temper-tantrum over Syria.  This might mean no attack on Syria anytime soon so he's going to take it out on our Military... BASTARD!  Is this a**hole intentionally trying to incite the military?  This will insure poverty conditions on Military families and those ordered to fight.  Here's an idea, lets take some of that welfare BS that's directed to our 'illegals' and direct to where it belongs... to the Honorable, you scumbag.  How about we dock all of your pay for 2014 and retro dock your pay back to 2009 for your miserable poor work performance, negligent, money you pissed away on Green Eco, dangerous work habits and not being available for that 3am emergency call from Bengazi?  Meanwhile the terrorist Hasan gets $300,000 that never ever ever should have been deemed payable to him.  And what about all those million$ spent on your crappy vacations you took on our dime... you sick #*@%!  Worst President this Country has ever had!)

This news item seems to have gone unnoticed. It was among the Friday news dump before the start of the Labor Day weekend. Obama bypasses Congress once again by cutting the recommended 1.8 pay raise hike by almost half for the military.

Obama can't seem to find the funds for our military (the only constitutional responsibility of the Federal government). However, Obama has no problem finding tax payer funds for the numerous lavish vacations, for IRS agent bonuses and IRS abuses, the tax dollars wasted on portraits of EPA's Lisa Jackson, $2.2 million to study Lesbian obesity, and other taxpayer misuse of funds too numerous to mention.

NavyTimes reports the following:

In the midst of discussion about launching a U.S. military strike on Syria, President Obama moved Friday to reduce the size of January's military raise.

Instead of the 1.8 percent raise due troops under a federal pay formula, Obama notified Congress he is exercising his powers as the government's pay agent to cap the Jan. 1 increase at 1 percent.

The announcement came at 5 p.m. at the start of the Labor Day weekend after the news had been dominated for days about how the U.S. should respond to apparent use of chemical weapons against civilians by the government of Syria.

The pay decision is not unexpected and is not final, but it may diminish some support for a bigger military raise.

Obama's 2014 defense budget sent to Congress in February included a 1 percent pay increase, a recommendation endorsed by the Senate Armed Services Committee but opposed by the House of Representatives. The defense authorization and appropriations bills approved by the House include the 1.8 percent across-the-board raise, the amount called for under the Federal Pay Comparability Act requiring raises to keep pace with private-sector wages.

The Examiner adds the following:

The Family Obama is figuratively still shaking the sand out of their shoes from last month's Martha's Vineyard vacation, and two short months prior to that, the clan enjoyed a $100 million African holiday.

What A 1% Pay Raise Looks Like...

If approved, a 1.0 percent raise equals $3.79 a week more (before taxes) for a newly joined member of the Armed Forces.

According to the Defense Finance and Accounting Service official website, the base pay for Pay Grade E-1 in all branches of the Armed Forces is $1,516.20 per month.

The Department of Health and Human Services' Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation (APSE) official website lists the poverty line for a single person at $11,490.00 per month.

As cited by USmilitary.about.com, the highest pay raise the uniformed services received between 1976 and 2009 was during the Reagan presidency, the 1982 pay raise of 14.3 percent. During his administration, the smallest pay raise he ever approved as 2.0 percent in 1988.

During the Obama years, his pay raise approvals for the Services have seen a steady decline as cited by CNSNews.com:

•2009 – 3.9%
•2010 – 3.4%
•2011 – 1.4%
•2012 – 1.6%
•2013 – 1.7%
•2014 – 1.0%

Via Newmax

Obama has told Congress he will cap next year's pay raise for U.S. military personnel at 1 percent instead of boosting pay by 1.8 percent as called for by a federal law.

The president's move will negatively impact American combat troops scheduled to remain in Afghanistan through 2014.

The federal law says military pay raises must be based on the Employment Cost Index compiled by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, which ties military raises to private sector pay growth. Under that formula, military personnel should be getting a 1.8 percent pay raise beginning in January 2014, CNS News reported.

But the law also states that the president can inform Congress of an alternative pay adjustment "if because of national emergency or serious economic conditions affecting the general welfare, the president considers the pay adjustment which would otherwise be required by this section in any year to be inappropriate."

Obama wrote to congressional leaders: "I am strongly committed to supporting our uniformed service members, who have made such great contributions to our nation over the past decade of war. As our country continues to recover from serious economic conditions affecting the general welfare, however, we must maintain efforts to keep our nation on a sustainable fiscal course."

He also asserted that his decision "will not materially affect the federal government's ability to attract and retain well-qualified members" of the military.

The House passed a bill in July authorizing the 1.8 percent raise, but the Senate has set the raise at 1 percent as recommended by Obama.

Military pay rose 1.7 percent this year and 1.6 percent in 2012.

Retired Air Force Col. Mike Hayden, director of government relations for the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA), calculated that the reduced pay raise could cost an officer with 10 years of service about $52 a month next year, or $8,000 over the remaining years of his or her career. It would also cost a service member $20,000 in retirement pay.

Hayden wrote on the MOAA website: "Over the past 12 years, Congress worked hard to fix the 13.5 percent pay gap (and resulting retention problems) caused by repeatedly capping military raises below private-sector pay growth in the 1980s and 1990s.

"History has shown that once Congress starts accepting proposals to cap military pay below private-sector growth, pay caps continue until they have weakened retention and readiness."

Approval of Congress Drops Even During Recess

Congress went into recess in August and many members spent time at home talking to constituents, but public opinion of their performance still dropped during the month.

Just 7 percent of likely voters think Congress is doing a good or excellent job, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey. That's down from 10 percent a month ago.

When asked to rate Congress' performance as excellent, good, fair, or poor, 62 percent said poor.

Just 23 percent of respondents believe their representative in Congress is the best possible person for the job. Nearly twice as many, 44 percent, disagree, while 33 percent are not sure.

One-third of those polled think their local representative deserves re-election, but 38 percent believe their representatives do not deserve another term.

Only 15 percent of voters believe that most members of Congress care what their constituents think, and 64 percent disagree. But 27 percent say their own representative cares what they think, while 49 percent disagree.

Other findings of the Rasmussen survey:

•67 percent of voters continue to believe most members of Congress are re-elected because the election rules are rigged to benefit them.

•Among voters who say they are members of the tea party, 15 percent give Congress a good or excellent rating, compared to 6 percent who are not tea party members.

•78 percent of Republican voters think it is at least somewhat important for their leaders in Congress to work with the tea party, including 45 percent who believe it is very important.

•Only one quarter of voters believe the debt ceiling should be raised without any significant spending cuts.

Jihadi Work Accidents:
Seven Taliban Killed While Planting IEDs When Their
Bombs Detonate Prematurely In Two Separate Incidents

KANDAHAR, AFGHANISTAN (BNO NEWS) — Seven suspected Taliban insurgents were killed in southern Afghanistan late on Friday when their own explosives detonated prematurely, officials said on Saturday. It is believed the militants were attempting to target Afghan security forces.

The insurgents were killed on Friday evening in two separate incidents in Kandahar province, which is located in Afghanistan's volatile southern region that was the birthplace of the Taliban movement two decades ago. There were no casualties among civilians or security forces in either incident.

The first explosion happened on a road in the Haday Ghra area of Arghistaan district when a group of Taliban-affiliated insurgents was attempting to plant improvised explosive devices (IEDs) to target Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) in the area, according to a provincial spokesman, who said six of the insurgents were killed.

The second incident happened on a road near a school in the Girandi area of Panjwayi district. "The mentioned insurgent was trying to plant an IED to harm Afghan National Security Forces but it resulted in his own death by his own IED explosion," the spokesman said on Saturday.

Leftists Heading To Syria To Act As "Human Shields" For Assad Regime

(The useful idiot brigade)

Via Ynet:
While many Western nations are evacuating their citizens from Syria and the neighbors countries ahead of a potential US strikes, human rights activists are planning to enter the war-torn country and act as "human shields" against a US assault, Britain's The Telegraph reported Saturday.

The 'International Human Shields' movement, started by a group of activists in Britain and the US, plans to bring to Syria civilians from countries around the globe, who will try to deter US strikes on the country by staking out potential military targets.

It is unclear whether the Syrian regime will allow the group to enter the country, but Franklin Lamb, a lawyer recently appointed as the legal adviser for the group said he had been "inundated" with requests from activists including from Canada, France, Italy, the US, and Britain.

Many of those volunteering to go to Syria also took part in the "Human Shields" movement that travelled to Baghdad in 2003, initially to protect hospitals and schools, and later, key government infrastructure sites.

Syrian Rebel American Allies Continue Christian Genocide –
Obama Sends Fruit Basket Thank You – Halal of Course

By: Terresa Monroe-Hamilton

Al-Qaida Rebel fighters have taken over a Christian village northeast of the capital of Syria, Damascus. The slaughter of Christians continues as Obama's allies cleanse the country of those EVIL Christians. This village speaks the language Christ spoke and now it is a ghost town.

From Yahoo! News:

A Maaloula resident said the rebels, many of them sporting beards and shouting Allahu Akbar, or God is great, attacked Christian homes and churches shortly after moving into the village overnight.

"They shot and killed people. I heard gunshots and then I saw three bodies lying in the middle of a street in the old quarters of the village," said the resident, reached by telephone from neighboring Jordan. "So many people fled the village for safety."

Now, Maaloula "is a ghost town. Where is President Obama to see what befallen on us?" asked the man, who spoke on condition of anonymity for fear of reprisal by the rebels.

The barbaric Rebel advance into these towns and areas is led by the Nusra Front — Islamic extremists and BFFs of Obama – and they strike terror into the hearts of Syrians and religious minorities. They come to conquer – burn churches to the ground, murder, rape, pillage, torture and terrorize. And let's not forget – cleanse in the name of Allah shouting Allah Akbar! You know, as McCain points out, just like Christians do. Hope he remembers that when the Islamists gear up in America.

We have watched at every turn as Obama has courted Erdogan of Turkey, claiming him as his closest ally; bringing the Muslim Brotherhood into the White House; persecuting Christians at home and abroad; and forcing Islamic law and principles down our throats while disparaging America. Taqiyya reigns in our government halls and the enemies within are praying for a similar Christian cleansing and debasing in America, while Obama faces Mecca.
