As they ran past a Japanese tourist, she said, one of the men fired into the woman's face from a range of about 15 inches.

"They made us get down on our knees," Ms Dousse said. "And then they started shooting. A man who was very heavy fell on me and the lady behind me also covered me ... They shot me in the arm and leg, and then they started again shooting those who were still alive in the head.

The gunmen "took all the young women, the girls, and disappeared with them. I don't know where they went with the women, but they hurt them. We could hear screams of pain," Dousse said.

"It went on for a long time, an hour or an hour and a half. The terrorists came back again and again; they danced and sang," she said.

Among the horrors, the marauders cut off the ears and noses of several of their victims. A note praising Islam was found inside one disemboweled body.

Survey shows doctors favor Romney, 55 to 36 percent

A press release from the 60 Plus Association highlights the results of a recent poll showing doctors favor Mitt Romney for president by a 19-point margin:

http://60plus.org/doctors-say-the-right-rx-for-america-is-romneyryan/http://60plus.org/doctors-say-the-right-rx-for-america-is-romneyryan/

A new survey sponsored by Jackson Healthcare shows that by 55% to 36%, doctors favor Mitt Romney over President Obama, in large measure due to the President's healthcare overhaul which places tremendous government burdens on the way and manner in which doctors can practice medicine. Further, 15% of doctors are switching their votes from Obama in 2008, to the President's opponent this year.

Other reasons cited by the survey include 'leadership style, failure to follow through on campaign promises, unemployment and the general state of the economy.'

Said 60 Plus Chairman Jim Martin, "Doctors are by far the most trusted profession in America, and just like we trust them on what treatments and medicines to take for our own welfare, we would all be well served to trust their judgment on what is best for the future of medicine in America. Their overwhelming preference for Governor Romney is as clear a signal there is that Obamacare is bad medicine for all of us."

Let us once again remember all the standard caveats about every poll, in this season full of weird samples and questionable methodology. According to Newsmax, this particular survey included a good-sized polling sample of 3,660 doctors nationwide, with a partisan split of 24 percent Democrat, 35 percent Republican, 26 percent independent, 6 percent Libertarian, and 7 percent unaffiliated. That's not in line with the partisan breakdown of the general population, but it might be reasonably representative of doctors.
http://www.newsmax.com/Newsfront/doctors-survey-support-romney/2012/10/01/id/458316

Newsmax dug deeper into the survey results and found that "among doctors more likely to support President Obama were women as well as physicians employed by hospitals and health systems. Specialists, primarily psychiatrists, pediatricians and addiction medicine physicians also were more likely to support Obama. Male doctors and those with their own practice or who had a stake in their own practice as well as anesthesiologists, surgeons, radiologists and ophthalmologists were more likely to support Romney."

Voting enthusiasm among physicians appears to be significantly higher than it was in 2008, while as 60 Plus noted, Obama did far better among doctors back then. Survey respondents favored repealing ObamaCare by 55-40.

Besides dealing with the ObamaCare nightmare, doctors tend to fall into the income group most heavily targeted by Obama's class-war rhetoric, and their practices are the sort of small businesses that will be crushed by Taxmageddon. And they might still have unhappy memories of Obama describing them as greedy tonsil vampires.

Shameless Joe: Biden Lies Again on Social Security
Jim Martin: "Joe Biden clearly thinks that senior citizens are as stupid and dense as he is."

http://60plus.org/shameless-joe-biden-lies-again-on-social-security/

(Chicago, Illinois) – 60 Plus Chairman Jim Martin, leader of the nation's largest conservative seniors organization with over 7.2 million senior supporters, shot back at Vice President Joe Biden's false and contrived charge against Mitt Romney today that the GOP presidential nominee plans to raise Social Security taxes on seniors if elected.  Biden made the remarks while addressing an audience of senior citizens in Boca Raton, FL.

"Joe Biden is a national embarrassment and a serial liar, there's not one person left in this country, let alone among seniors, who believes a syllable that comes from that man's mouth.  But I take special offense to Democrats once again trying to scare seniors right before an election, it is all they know, it's in their DNA.  Lying to seniors about getting their Social Security benefits taxed without a shred of proof is about as low as they come."

Martin made his comments in the midst of the 60 Plus national bus tour,  which just completed three stops in Illinois and is now heading to Wisconsin for eight healthcare rallies and town halls, before heading to Minnesota and completing its journey with seven events in Florida.

Martin, however, offered some advice to the Vice President, saying "But all is not lost — it is very easy to make Joe Biden's lie a true statement.  Just replace the words 'Mitt Romney' with 'Joe Biden,' and replace 'will tax Social Security' with 'repeatedly TAXED Social Security.'  Then the statement is entirely accurate, because Joe Biden not only voted to tax Social Security benefits, but he has cast votes that kept taxes higher on those benefits nearly a dozen times.

"It's sad to think we have 40 more days of this election, where we have the sitting Vice President, a confirmed and habitual taxer of Social Security benefits, accusing his opponent of planning to tax Social Security, of all things.  Joe, given your record of taxing seniors, you ought to be applauding Mitt Romney if you really think he would  hit seniors as hard as you've hit them in the past.  But unlike Joe Biden, Mitt Romney hasn't ever voted to tax Social Security.

"Maybe Joe Biden should be spending more time explaining to seniors why he's such a fan of taxing their benefits, and less time lying about Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan.  Seniors may be hard of hearing, but they're not hard of thinking."

"How Do You Debate Obama? Make Him Own The Economy"

Mitt Romney needs to puncture with facts President Barack Obama's puffy and ludicrous claims of success related to the economy. The coming debates are his final chance to directly challenge the president.

What are these little snots thinking---throwing away their Obama mandated fruits & veggies ? Maybe that's why Obama is buying that prison in Illinois. A 3 year sentence with Mohamed from Gitmo might get their minds right---or better yet---put a dozen or so in front of a firing squad and I'll bet the rest of those little nose pickers will realize Michelle means business.

School May Install 'Trash-Cams' To Spy on Kids Tossing Veggies
Oct 3, 2012

By Todd Starnes

A Florida school district is considering a plan to install surveillance cameras on cafeteria trash cans to monitor what kids are throwing away – after they discovered that students were tossing out their federally-mandated fruit and vegetables.

The Lake County School Board said more than $75,000 worth of vegetables have been thrown in the garbage. The veggies and fresh fruit are party of the Obama administration's policy to force schools to provide healthy produce in lunch rooms.

"It's fairly specific recipe of what they would like us to serve," Lake County School Board member Tod Howard told Fox News. "Unfortunately, much of it has to do with fresh fruit and vegetables and it seems to be going into the trash. And that's not okay."

So Howard suggested the district attach security cameras to the trash cans to monitor exactly what is being thrown away.

"It will also give us documentation so that we can go back to the federal government and say here's what we are finding," he said. "We do know there's an issue."

School districts across the nation are furious with the Obama administration's orders. Some students have staged strikes while others have launched petition drives urging the federal government to change their policy.

Gore blames Denver altitude for Obama's debate performance
Published October 04, 2012

Sept. 28, 2012: Former Vice President Al Gore speaks at an event in Toronto. (AP)

It was the altitude. Yeah, that's it.

As liberal pundits cringed Wednesday night over President Obama's debate performance, Al Gore leapt to his defense with a curious explanation.

If Obama seemed like he had his head in the clouds, the former VP reasoned, perhaps it was because he was having trouble adjusting to the Mile-High City.

"I'm going to say something controversial here," , the channel he helped found. "Obama arrived in Denver at 2 p.m. today, just a few hours before the debate started. Romney did his debate prep in Denver. When you go to 5,000 feet, and you only have a few hours to adjust, I don't know ..."

Gore trailed off with a chuckle, but his fellow co-hosts chimed in with agreement.

"Exactly," one of them said off-screen.

Co-host Cenk Uygur noted how when he came from Los Angeles, "You know what I did? I drank two cups of coffee before coming out here."

Another guest added: "It's really different. The first time I ever did stand up in Denver I had the same exact effect. I flew in that day and when your lungs aren't acclimated to that kind of air, yeah it makes you drawn. It makes you off. The president had an off-night."

Other Obama supporters weren't quite so willing to give the president a pass.

"I can't believe i'm saying this, but Obama looks like he DOES need a teleprompter," comedian and Obama supporter Bill Maher tweeted
