Yvonne Louise Penrow, 57, a resident of Fredonia, Kansas, died Saturday, August 18, 2012 at her home.  She was born April 29, 1955 in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of Franklin Delano, Sr. and Stella Mae (Honer) Swisher.

She was a retired CNA at Fredonia Regional Hospital in Fredonia, Kansas.  On August 2, 1975 in Las Vegas, Nevada, Yvonne was united in marriage to Charles Ray "Chuck" Penrow.  He preceded her in deat May 6, 2012.

Yvonne's survivors include one son, Zane and Nadine Swisher of Albuquerque, New Mexico; three brothers, Richard Swisher of Fredonia, Kansas, Frank Swisher of Phoenix, Arizona, and Hugene Swisher of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and three grandchildren, Antonio Padella, Samantha Swisher, and Angel Swisher.  She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Swisher, Sr. and her brother, Walter Swisher.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Longton Cemetery in Longton, Kansas with Rev. Max Dawson officiating.  The Yvonne Penrow Memorial Fund has been established, and donations can be sent to Timmons Funeral Home, P.O.
