You know Patriot its conditioning.  Used to be you went to the rallys and met with the candidates.  Then tv came along and that went out the door.  Same thing with internet.  I have had one candidate come to my door  the other day.  I didn't realize they still did that.  Had a great talk with him and his wife. 
His ideals are my ideals.  Guess my vote isn't important enough for his "opposition" to even bother.

Had the same thing here, a couple weeks ago. Virgil Peck came by knocking on doors. Had a good long visit and he didn't act like he was in a hurry to get away like some of them do.

Unlike Elk Konnected, Mr Lear never INVITED folks to use this forum as a primary means of communication.  Two different fruits, ready.  Let's stick with apples here & let the prunes stay with Elk Konnected.  By not posting here, Mr Lear has not made himself out to be untruthful.

     Thing is, Mr Lear DID post here.     But, obviously just as a political advertisement, rather than a means of communication of ideas.  It is also just as obvious who some of you are voting for.

So, have you tried to contact Mr. Lear in any way?  Have you tried to talk to him in the ways that he suggested?  And what is wrong with using this means for a political statement?  Plenty of you are doing it on other threads.

Yes, he did 'post' here.... obviously as a means of providing his contact information.  And I've taken him up on the opportunity to talk.  It was refreshing to talk with someone who appears to have leadership qualities and a sense of loyalty to the public as opposed to a white ivory tower mentality of the common bureaucrat sucking off the public teat for health insurance & a paycheck.  He seemed to understand the need for less wasteful spending, better management of resources, more visibility in areas more than a half-mile off the highway, and the dangers of nepotism within a small agency. 

As for who the other posters on here will or will not vote for..... WTH does that have to do with anything?  Since we're now reading crystal balls, your comments make it clear that you may be like so many other liberals who see facts as an impediment to your gossip mongering and who think everything should be handed to you on a silver platter because you're somehow entitled.  You can send an email from that keyboard just as easily as you can waste keystrokes here.... write the man and ask your questions... after all, he invited it.

Wilma, we finally we seem to agree.  Just proves that sometimes the path to common ground can be a rough one.  Careful though, I've been told that agreeing with me can be anathema to one's local reputation in some circles.
