I didn't slam ross or patriot for this topic. Ross posted this in a humorous vein. It was funny. I just added a funny to his post. Pick on me for something else. Don't be a part of what has made this forum deteriorate to a bickerfest. I guess you missed Ross's post where he was asking people to be more civil, I agree with him. So go poke, poke, someone else.

No you didn't slam Ross or Patriot for "this" Post. Guess THIS would be the key word here. Not sure where I was not being civil in my last post---please explain. While you're at it please explain where the "funny" is in that site you posted. Maybe I'm just dense but all I saw were half naked women. I don't believe for a moment that an old marine like you can't see the correlation to the picture Ross posted and the link to an escort site that I posted and warned my mom not to click on. Satire is not for everyone. Just keep poking people for no reason. I urge you to put on your best manners and join Ross in his effort to end the bickerfest, poking, name calling. Feign stupidity or lack of understanding if you must, but that is just another way to say poke, poke. I am joining him (Ross) in his pledge for civility, join us.

I don't see anyone trying to pick a fight. I do see a couple of valid questions deserving of a response, however. I, too, fail to see the humorous link between the political cartoon Ross posted and a website that has no related content and is explicitly an adult entertainment site. Perhaps you could clear these things up for us old, senile types.

The satire is obvious and the link is to the site they used to procure their escorts. So it is related to the story and Ross's post. Patriot you to are invited to be civil. Are you up to the task? I hope so. Join Ross and I in turning over a new leaf to be civil. Doesn't mean we have to agree on anything other than being civil.
