This short video illustrates the best demonstration and gives the simplest explanation of exactly what to do if someone near you collapses and is presumably having a heart attack.
You could very well save the life of a friend or loved one.

Well done! This is no sub for people who have had other formal CPR training, but is ideal for a first timer or anyone who doesn't know any of the other steps, or is not able to physically do breathing and compressions together. New research has shown that the big organs have oxygen in them longer that was  previously thought and just circulating that is much better than doing nothing. There is still about a 10 minute limit on that kind of rescue, so be sure the ambulance is on the way and add another trained CPR rescuer to the mix to add mouth to mouth if possible. The main thing is to please try! Be sure the person is really out cold unresponsive.
