EUREKA - Ollie Dell VanRoyen, 90, of Eureka, died Friday at Greenwood County hospital in Eureka.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Grace Lawn Cemetery in Howard.

Memorials are suggested to Medicalodge of Eureka and donations may be left with Koup Family Funeral Home in Eureka.

Mrs. VanRoyen was born Sept. 18, 1916 in Putnam, Okla., the daughter of Charles and Julia (Foust) Smith.  She was raised in Elk County.

She worked at the Eureka Nursing Home and Senior Center until she retired.  She also worked as a cook at several restaurants in Greenwood County.

She married Enos VanRoyen on May 21, 1932 in Howard.  The couple lived in Elk, Linn, Butler and Greenwood counties.  Mr. VanRoyen preceded her in death.

She was baptized into the Christian faith at Elk Falls and was a member of the Magic Circle Quilters Guild.

Mrs. VanRoyen is survied by five daughters, Lilly Cheever, Alma Boardman, Karen Meyer, Glenice Chastain, all of Eureka, and Linda Simons, Toronto; a sister, Blondena Harold, Mt. Hope; 19 grandchildren, 43 great-granchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren, and four stepgreat-great-grandchidlren.
