Obituary

Mary Rust was born near Houston, Missouri, November 25, 1872, where she spent the most of her life.  January 25th, 1894, she was married to John M. Higginbotham and in 1901 they moved to Kansas and settled at Moline where they resided until her death which occurred April 6th, 1921.

Mrs. Higginbotham was the mother of nine children, two of whom preceded their mother to the Heavenly home, passing away infancy.  She was a devoted wife and mother.  She was a good woman and gained the love and respect of all who knew her.  She was constant and faithful in fulfilling the duries that came to her.

She leaves to mourn her her husband, four daughters, three sons, three sisters and one brother.

Funeral servides were held at her late home Friday afternoon, April 8th, conducted by Rev Mars G. McIntosh and the body was laid to rest in the Moline cemetery.
