The Grave Site on Hwy 99

At least I think it is a grave site. It's between Howard and Severy and is on the east side of the highway. There seems to be a sign in front of it. Is it a grave? And if it is, whose is it? I keep forgetting to stop and look when we go by there!

Thank you for the information! Very interesting, indeed. I love learning about Elk county history, there's a lot of neat stuff!
