Martin Hebb and Miss Violet Friend were married at Independence, Kansas, Wednesday, February 17, 1932 at 2:00 p.m.  The bride is the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wiley Friend of northwest of Howard and has lived in that community for several years, and is a very loveable young lady whose friends are numbered by her acquaintances

The groom is the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. James Hebb of southwest of Howard and was born and grew to young manhood in the present home and attended high school at Moline.  He is of a very quiet nature, but loyal to his friends and loved ones.  He is an industrious young farmer and stockman and they will be at home to their many friends on the I.L. Smith farm after March first.

The Citizen joins with these worthy young people's many friends in wishing them a long, prosperous and very happy wedded life.
