The 'white crawl'.

According to the candidates, God has spoken to Herman Cain, Anita Perry (and thus, her husband Rick) and Michele Bachmann.

Either someone is hearing from someone other than God, or perhaps this is God's way of chastising us.

Who knew, a week ago, when I discussed Cain's problems that Perry would turn out to be his savior. His 55-second pause, as he tried to remember the third of the federal agencies he would eliminate, drew the media's attention away from Cain, at least for a few news cycles.

To Perry's credit, he was able to make fun of himself and save his candidacy, although not before giving Newt Gingrich an opening. So the fun will continue for some time to come. Yippee!

Something which flew under most of the media's radar was the voting this week by the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles on the proposed Sons of Confederate Veteran's specialty license plate.
