Annual Elk County Historical Society Meeting

I received formal notice that the annual meeting of the Elk County Historical Society Inc., will be on Sunday, November 6, 2011, at 2:00 pm.

Place of meeting is the Longton Historical Museum, Longton, Kansas. The museum will be open for display before and after the meeting.

The purpose of the Annual Meeting of members is the election of officers; the presentation of committee reports; presentation of reports of business of the corporation for the preceding year; and any other business that may properly come before the meeting.

Dues are $2.00 per year per individual. Visitors are welcome. Point of contact is Ruth Walker, 140 Road 13, Moline, KS.

The notice does not provide the physical location of the museum so perhaps someone from Longton could post the location.
