McKinney--Ferguson Marriage

Russell McKinney of Howard and Miss Erma Ferguson of Severy were united in marriage at Pawhuska, Oklahoma, Saturday, December 19th by Rev. Robert Thompson, pastor of the M. E. Church of that city.   The announcement came last week as a surprise to many of their friends .  Mr. McKinney is the youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. T. J. McKinney, a graduate of Howard high school and is now associated with his father in farming.  Mrs. McKinney is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Ferguson of Severy and is one of Elk county's most successful teachers.  She taught in the Howard school three years ago, but for the past two years has been teaching the primary grades in the Longton city schools.  After school is out in the spring they will make their home in this vicinity,  Howard friends extend best wishes and hearty congratulations to this popular young couple. ---The Citizen.
