Robert D. "Bob" Hayes, 77, retired Cessna employee, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2011.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Leo) Hayes; children, Steve (Susanne) Hayes of Wichita, Kansas, Robert Hayes of Augusta, Kansas, and Terry (Diana) Hayes of Wichita, Kansas; sister, Joann (Lewis) Simmons; 8 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Elvira Hayes, and a brother, Bill Hayes.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 10, 2011 and funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 11, 2011, both at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N.
