Ruth has joyously reunited with her husband of 61 years, Samuel Francis Peebler, on September 2, 2010.  Mary "Ruth" (Murphy) Peebler was born in Moline, Kansas on May 25, 1920, the daughter of Edgar and Mary Murphy.

She is survived by her son, James (Elaine) Peebler; daughters, Linda (Jim) Peebles-Pearce, Geri Peebler, and Judy (Tim) Qualls; her brother, Harry Murphy; and 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 6, 2011 and rosary will begin at 7:00 p.m. at the Hillside West Funeral Home, 2929 W. 13th Street North, Wichita, Kansas.   Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 8, 2010 at St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church, 7335 W. 33rd Street North, Wichita, Kansas.  Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Oatville, Kansas.  Condolences may be sent to www.hillsidefuneralhomewest.com.
