How did America get into this catastrophe called Barack Hussein Obama whose socialist policies have given us zero jobs in August? Endemic education propaganda is the short answer. My long-view theory places the blame directly on our public school establishment's unholy alliance with socialism, unionism and secularism when the NEA was established in 1857.

because this country is stupid!  The Government schools have indoctrinated the youth so well they will vote in any liberal that promises them a free ride.  Unfortunately we have too many youth that can vote and no damn common sense to vote with!

And now it's pandemic.  Oh, the educators among us will likely dis and disagree, but who is it that have the wet cement that is the minds of our youth for the majority of their formative waking hours..... government run schools.  And, as the article points out, intellectually honest reason, logic, morality and critical thinking have been removed from the general curriculum.  Therefore the simple cause and effect of what's happened is beyond the grasp of many, if not most, these days.  These problems passed sad a long time ago.  Now the reality is simply disgusting.  But, alas, hogs simply don't realize they live in muck.

The government schools get the money and that's how they teach too.  It's socialism and Keynesian all the way from K thru 12, and the colleges add to it.
