Carrie Ola Willis was born at Fiat, Kansas, May 3, 1884, died at Howard, Saturday, January 7, 1911 age, 26 years, 8 months, 4 days.

July 8, 1900, she was married to John McLean.  To this union were born six children, five of whom are living, the oldest 10 years old, the youngest a baby just a few days of age.

Mrs. McLean joined the M. E. church and was baptized by Rev. Tifft, during his pastorate of the Howard church.

Besides the husband and family she leaves an aged father and mother and one sister, Mrs. Jas. Stewart.

Funeral services were held Monday conducted by Rev. T. A. Nichols.  Interment at Grace Lawn cemetery.
