I also say, "Tell that to the victims of Hurricane Katrina." In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, local police in New Orleans illegally confiscated the guns of law-abiding residents, putting them at the mercy of the rampaging mobs.

What you and I are facing is a United Nations that has set its sights on global disarmament. Their goal is to disarm citizens worldwide, including you and me.

These international gun banners want every gun to be under U.N. and government control. This includes your rifle, your shotgun and your pistol. The bottom line is this: the U.N. treaty is not only an attack on the Second Amendment, it's an attack on our freedoms.

If you don't want to end up defenseless like the people of New Orleans in 2005 or the people of Great Britain today, then we need to fight this treaty now.

What is happening in Great Britain is a warning to all freedom-loving Americans. So please, stand with NRA. Stand with freedom. Stand up for your Right to Keep and Bear Arms.

I say if they do land and start pillaging...I will shoot first, then they can deal with me and my 'rights' later...by then I really won't give a flying duck!

Unfortunately, the powers that be are not looking at the big picture of self defense, as in my opinion....if you are the best, you don't have to prove yourself.  The USA is powerful...however I think we are not as we used to be in the 70's.

However, I will be at your place if you need, with my shotgun, my jars/gas/rags and nails.

The smaller 'wars' gang wars as KSH was refering to is becoming more the normal.  I fear a Civil War, before an International one.
