Thanks everyone.  I am going to write these down in case there is a next time.  Chloe thinks there are some pretty tough kittie's in Elk Co.  HA HA.  She was very clingy last night.

The solution from proudparent is the only way to go. I have used it once on my dog, Sam, when he just ran through some spray. He didn't get sprayed, but it was certainly potent. Anyway, that solution works.

Janet, I'm glad it worked for you. Living in the country, I have had need for it many times myself. ;D I've thought many times that it should be included in church, fundraiser, etc. cookbooks, maybe under misc. or something like that. The folks at my vet found it in a hunting magazine. Of course, that was several years ago before the special shampoo was available. I have tried tomato juice, but found this to be more economical and more effective.

Hold the skunk's nose and he won't smell.
