The House of Representatives approved a four-year extension of the Patriot Act, voting 250 to 153 for the measure. With the Senate's passage of the extension earlier today, the bill goes to President Obama for his signature. Key portions of the act are scheduled to expire at midnight tonight.

Thirty-one House Republicans joined most Democrats in opposing the extension, while 54 Democrats supported it.
