Llamas or Alpacas?

I saw some in town! Are they just pets, or do they get sheared for their wool? I said "Hi" (from the car) to the one by the fence and it looked at me like I was an idiot! heeheeheehee

THey are llamas. I had one from there and i wouldn't have another one if someone paid me to take it.  You can shear them if you can get up close to them.
