Now, all the naysayers of Elk County can continue to focus on tearing down anything that might lead to a future Elk County that is more prosperous and thriving than it has been in the past, using every breath and stroke of the keyboard to try and smear the people who have the audasity to stand up and say a hundred years of bickering is enough.  Or they could choose to get their hands dirty helping to move the county forward.  

Who are the naysayers? I guess that must be me, i'm typing. The other equation EK isn't getting their hands dirty, they just use other people and taxpayers dollars to accomplish their personal goals as I see it. This is an agricultural county and it has a rock quarry?

I seem to be missing something here.

Most outstanding!  Thank you for sharing the link.  The wisdom of that old farmer was beyond modern comprehension... just look at what failing to give heed to the old man's understanding has given us.  Trillions of dollars in debt and a deeper hole every hour.  Even local councils, groups and organizations who take 'grant' money at every turn, never asking or caring about those from whom it was taken in order to be given.  The writers of our constitution knew... many who have have come after were and are blind.
