Survivors include his wife, Ramona; three children, Jim Robert of Dallas, Texas, Cindy Robert of Asheville, North Carolina, and Rhonda Couchenour along with her husband, Bill and two children, Jonathan and Will of Grand Rapids, Michigan.  Siblings include Eldon Robert and his wife, Teresa of Wichita, Kansas, Wesley Robert and his wife, Ruby of Severy, Kansas, Melba Weyrauch and her husband, Pat of Emporia, Kansas, Morris Robert and his wife, Janie of Fredonia, Kansas, Larry Robert and his wife, Kathy of Emporia, Kansas, Francis Robert and his wife, Colleen of Fredonia, Kansas, Floyd Robert and his wife, Bernice of Severy, Kansas, and Joyce Sayers and her husband, Chuck of Douglasville, Georgia.  Elwin was an uncle to 27 nieces and nephews of the Robert side of the family and 17 on the Hicks side of the family.  Elwin was preceded in death by his parents.

So sorry to to learn of Elwin's passing.  He was a wonderful example of a good Christian man.  The entire family are wonderful christian people.  I remember Elwin as one of the bus drivers for Severy when I was in high school.  Our sympathy and prayers will be extended to the entire Robert family.
