Donald Wayne Dalsing, 72, of Jacksonville, Arkansas, passed away February 11, 2011 in Little Rock, Arkansas.  He was born August 27, 1938 in Longton, Kansas to George Wayne and Mildred Bessie (Davis) Dalsing.

Don will be remembered as a loving husband and father.  He was of the Baptist faith.  In his youth, he was a Golden Gloves Boxer, and more recently, he loved to tinker with classic cars and motorcycles  Don spent 30 years as a machinist for the Santa Fe Railroad (now BNSF) in Argentine, Kansas and was a member of Local Union 356.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Nina Dalsing.

Graveside funeral services will be Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at Longton Cemetery in Longton, Kansas.  Viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the graveside service starting at 10:30 a.m.  The family suggests memorials to the Donald W. Dalsing memorial which they plan to donate to the cancer society.  Memorials may be sent to the funeral home.  Online condolences may be left at www.countrysidefh.com.  Services are under the direction of Countryside-Zimmerman Funeral Home, P.O.
